Perfection at it's best, a True Gold Crown Resort by RCI. Employees are happy, Management Superb, Rooms Clean and I mean really clean!
The only two issues I found, and I didn't want to find one single flaw, a bellman who's very polite, but you can feel rushed when he takes your belongings. I get it, it's about the tip, and with only one cart available, you have no choice if you have a lot to bring up or down to the room, but wish he slowed down a bit, since leaving La Sammana, felt like the incredible race, instead of a lasting goodbye, see you soon kind of a feeling I got! Superb human being, possibly I caught him at a busy time.
The towels are my only other serious issue. Towels must be re inspected for hair, since they are either stuck in the towel threads, fibers or long strands are hanging somewhere inside them. Not the kind of thing I EVER want to encounter when coming out of the shower, grosses me out, and I'm aware I could easily bring my own towels!
Besides that, great coffee and hot chocolate station, great gym with newer style equipment, TV's included on treadmill and elliptical machine, and just a wonderful all around timeshare, hotel experience. The amazing Italian restaurant, totally forgot the name, right next door, was WOW WOW WOW with quality, portioning enough for 2-3 meals for people that can eat, wink, and SOIVESS aka Service, is out of this world! Fettuccini Alfredo, Chicken Parmesan, Chili and House Salad were YUMMINESS to...
Read moreI stayed here last weekend - located in a cute, beachy town 5 mins away from the beach. The place is tiny but has great amenities like coffee in the mornings and a tiny rooftop pool. There’s also a shuttle service that runs to AC at night! The staff was very lovely except for one in particular named Lori? I was having problems with my fridge in my room and the staff who I had called at night were very accommodating and offered to hold my food in their fridge. When I had called in the morning (before anyone would have came to fix my fridge), I had let them know it was actually working in which Lori let out a huge “UGH” then said okay thanks for letting us know. I brushed that off, but I had called the next morning to have someone pick up the garbage from my room and Lori was very unpleasant. I had spoken to someone the day before who very kindly told me to leave my garbage out the door so that someone could pick it up - so when I had called the front desk while Lori was working she very rudely told me “No you’re not leaving the garbage out the room no one’s picking it up I don’t know who would’ve told you that”. I even waited about 15 mins for someone to pick it up since Lori claimed she would tell someone but I took the matters into my own hands and asked one of the cleaning staff if I could bring it to them. Everyone else was extremely nice and welcoming except for Lori. Overall - great location and great stay but hopefully you don’t have to...
Read moreWe loved our time here. This place is in quiet Brigantine, NJ, but only a ten-minute ride to downtown Atlantic City. We loved the ability to spend a day at the beach, or take an uber to the shops and casinos. One-way uber is about $15. The sweetest library is around the corner, $10 for a full four months of borrowing books, movies, TV shows and magazines, and the ladies that work there are darling. The hotel itself is nice. Be warned, the studios are only for couples with no children- there is not one inch to spare. The other floor plans might serve you better if traveling with a family. We liked our dinner at The Cellar, ice cream from Rita's (which is right next door!) and being able to choose if we wanted people, or just to be completely alone on the beach that is an easy walk from the front door. You can borrow umbrellas and chairs for free, but know that you will need to carry them a block and they are a bit heavy. The market and liquor store are very close, and there is a little coffee shop if you get bored with black coffee...
