It saddens me to have to leave such a poor review for this company. I pay way too much weekly to continue to deal with the front desk lady, not recognizing me or not having the the skill set to be able to ask me professionally without offending me if I have a room here or or not.
I had my hands full and came in. And the lady that works in the evening with blonde hair and the accent had the door open for me and my husband. Then as she realized I was trying to enter (which I thought she was holding the door open for us).
She shut the door and asked me if I had a room and caused me to have to put everything that was in my hands, down to pull out my key to show her yes, I have a room. This is the same lady that watched me, and my husband walk in the building and access our Room 10 minutes prior before we came back in with our hands full.
This right here has me feeling like I don't belong here even though I have a room here. My name is in the system and I have a room until the 30th because I am no longer interested in staying while i look for place.
I tried to extend my room out for 28 days and was told that they could do that. However, for the 29th day, I would have to check out for 24 hours and then on the day following that, check back in for another 28 days!
This is insanely inconvenient and I'm still trying to wrap my head around the logic behind that and why that is set in place. I have been here for 2 weeks now and in my 2 weeks of being here, I have seen 20 cops here with no arrest. They're just here behind the front desk, working as if they an employee and that's concerning for me because without probable cause or an emergency theyre not needed. Now dn't get me wrong, I like to know that I live in a safe community but I don't want to have to see police officers more than I see guest.
I made an attempt today before even posting this review to try to talk to the front desk General Manager and the Assistant General Manager and all I was told was, " I will talk to the her." This is unacceptable after the multitude of things that I've been through. I am no longer going to stay at this hotel. I love Woodspring suites, but there are few in between the others that are amazing and give you top tier service.
One of those places is the Woodsprings Suites in Commerce City. They are the best hotel that I've had the opportunity to stay at. I wouldn't recommend coming to stay at the Broomfield location, unless you want to see cops daily and spoken to as if you're a criminal.
Last week in the evening time I saw 12 vehicles with 2 cops per vehicle. Pull into this community and come to this hotel, All of them were behind the front desk.
The following morning, I went and asked the front desk why there was so much police activity here? And she said that they come here often, and last night was convenient for All of the officers that I saw to come here, and they came here and were just looking at the cameras, trying to find an issue is what she told me, to my understanding that's illegal!
I hope things change here because the area is...
Read moreFirst day, i moved all my stuff in but my tv wasn’t working. Didn’t want to move to another room so i was assured that maintenance would fix the next day. They did not fix it the next day because the person forgot or wasn’t told so i ended up switching rooms anyway.
Don’t let the pictures fool you those beds are just metal frames pushed against the wall. Because they aren’t attached to anything the bed moves around a lot. I could hear my upstairs neighbors doing everything in their bed at whatever hour day or night. My “clean” blanket smelled like an outside dog.
When i go to renew for my next week i asked 2 different employees at front counter if i could get any kind of credit for the issues I mentioned before and they said talk to the assistant manager the next day. I did all that only for the assistant manager offer me points when i didn’t pay in points and with zero remorse or apology “really couldn’t do anything else.”
The main issue of them all was when i tried to renew for a third week but was told that i could only renew for 3 days because my room was booked. I learned the hard way that this place is not a true extended stay because real extended stays don’t book the room from under you while you’re still in the room during your paid time
What kept me renewing is the price and location. The location has nice places to hike, walk bike and run if you like and the views are nice from both sides of the hotel BUT the blinds don’t go up and the windows only crack to like 2 inches open. So definitely go outside to really enjoy it. Also, the gym is descent for the price point.
So stay at your own risk especially if youre looking for a place to stay long term and pay weekly.
And do be fooled by these goofy responses they leave on peoples reviews they just invite people to come back and spend more money taking no...
Read moreMy husband has been staying at this hotel since may for work, me and our 3 kids have been visiting for a few weeks and his boss pays a lot of money for this room and the fact that his room went without being cleaned for almost 2 months even after us asking multiple times for it to be cleaned is down right ridiculous. When I got here I asked the manager on duty where we were supposed to put our trash and she said to place it outside in the hall and housekeeping picks it up, which is what everyone on our floor does as well not just us and last night a very rude manager from the Colorado Springs location named Teri yelled and me and my husband and told us if we ever left trash out there again she would charge us $15 per piece of trash and then when housekeeping did clean our room finally they left the old sheet in the room so I called front desk and asked them to send someone up to get it and she told me to just place it outside the door and housekeeping was on their way up to get it so I did and Teri had an issue with that because housekeeping never came so the sheet was still there last night when we returned. I am sorry but the managers here need to speak to each other about policies so it doesn’t result in guest being yelled at infront of little kids. Teri needs to be fired for her attitude towards guests that is completely unprofessional, she could have nicely explained that it wasn’t policy and told us the correct things to do instead she yells and gets an attitude and threatens to charge us outrageous prices for 1 bag of trash and a mistake that housekeeping made. I will be getting ahold of someone higher up to make sure “teri” isn’t able to speak to any guest like that again and hopefully loses her job because she is not cut out to work in public around people...
