Three stars because I have had good and bad happen here. Order ahead works well and keep in mind that I really make an effort to not go into Starbucks, just do the drive thru. Good people, the usual Starbucks level of perkiness but if there is a larger order than usual you are screwed. The drive thru is what I refer to as a trap, you cannot escape without damage being done to something, like your car. I was car number three and was 15 minutes in debt to get some coffee. If I could have exited the trap or backed out I would have but that was not happening. I called the store and asked what was the issue only to hear "we had a big order". Information from Starbucks last annual report says that they are in for about 8,000,000 cups of coffee a day. With numbers like that and a tried and true blueprint, remember all stores are corporate, no franchise BS to hide behind, I must know what a store considers a "large" order. Regardless it's what you do. Take a lesson from the Starbucks at 6600 Wadsworth in Arvada, they have a parking spot that they request that orders with an issue move to so that the rest of the world doesn't have to stop and wait. Bravo! In the meantime you now have the title for the slowest Starbucks in the North Metro area as defined by me. Previous title holder was 7221 Sheridan in Westminster. I have driven past that location more than I have stopped in, not because I wanted to but because I just didn't have that sort of time. Now you, 525 US-287 in Broomfield get to be in the rear view mirror of my coffeeless drive. I live two and a half miles from you, you should be taking way more of my money than...
Read moreThis Starbucks has always gotten my orders right (Ty Baristas & Starbucks App!) and their drive thru is usually pretty quick. I wish Starbucks would add a 2nd drive thru lane and window for only those who order 5min+ or more in advance thru app or online so I could stop knowing it may take 1-2 min to get my drinks so I wouldn't have to risk the dreaded 10min+ line of those "explorers & first-timers". More drinks for me and more revenue and tips for the Baristas & Shift supervisors. I'd maybe even place food & beverage orders the day before for a guarantee (or notification otherwise) that the food & drinks I'm looking forward to are available and the darn store's mobile ordering capabilities are active(not sure why some work at certain times & why they don't others. Be amazed the stories I've heard from staff, but I can't figure out the randomness - they're all stand alone Corp stores (no licensed). Pre-ordering would hopefully allow Starbucks to not have to throw away so many yummy pastries at the end of the night...
Read moreThe seating area is nice and open, with plenty of seating options, and the staff are very nice. Typical Starbucks, in that the quality of the coffee is low, but if you dump enough sugar on it then it tastes good. WiFi is decently fast, but if you wanted to stream, probably not going to happen. However, reason I'm writing this review is their restrooms are absolutely horrible. Restroom itself is clean mind you...but they decided to go with the crappiest air dryer I've ever seen. It turns off after only a few seconds and you have to fight it hard to get anymore drying time, so your hands are dripping wet when you leave, and there's no paper towels so you have no alternative. Also, very unsanitary because let's face it not everyone washes their hands and you have to grip the door handle to open it thus contaminating your hands. They serve food here obviously...so that's just disgusting. Hope you don't mind grabbing a stack of napkins after you leave the restroom to...
