WE love Desert Rancho Motel and Richard (Manager) is a great guy. He doesn't take anyone's crap and we respect him for that. The weekly rate is about as good as it gets for this area with locality being central to both bullhead city food, stores and shopping and Laughlin, NV bridge.
We REALLY Needed a cheap Hotel for a couple of days and Desert Rancho Motel, delivered. If we could, I would give this hotel 10 stars just because they are doing great for its location on so many other levels. The bigger hotels just fail on the simple things.
The guys at the front desk made checking in a breeze and the simplicity of parking front of your room rather than in some garage or back lot makes you sleep a little better.
The Desert Rancho Motel came with FREE Wireless Internet that was faster that all of the following mentioned hotels below combined.
The rates were great, the Wi-Fi service at Desert Rancho Motel was the best that we had received even from the Likes of other Hotels like:
Las Vegas Hotel couldn't even connect Days Inn worst Wi-Fi ever Dial up Hard Rock Hotel over priced and slow Internet Planet Hollywood is definitely over priced Internet Wi-Fi
The bed was extremely comfortable and relaxing, I'm a pretty tall person so not having my calves draped over the edge was a great change.
The TV was equipped with SHO and plenty of channels to watch, The AC was digital controlled so it was easy to make the climate comfortable enough to rest well.
The rooms even came with Fridges and an...
Read moreOne star is too good actually.||I don't even know where to start here. It was the WORST hotel I've ever stayed in. ||No remodels or upgrades here...in 50 years. The carpet is dirty and stinky, with cigarette burns and stains. My husbands socks were black. The bathroom was just plain disgusting. Someone else's hair adorned the sides of the shower wall and on the bottom of the tub and on the drain. I don't think the floor has been cleaned in 20 years. There was "stuff" dried running down the walls behind the door. The floor in the sink area, where the fridge is and you hang your clothes, was gross and sticky like a soda had been dropped and not cleaned. One of the beds didn't have a fitted sheet on it, just the plastic, torn cover on the mattress. The sidewalk outside would have been more comfortable than this bed. We used the towels in the room to clean the floor. I asked for more towels and was given the third degree. There are just like 3 or 4 Asian women running this place. They don't seem to do any cleaning, that's for sure. No microwave. No wifi. No continental breakfast. No nothing. $60 per night. I'd rather sleep in my car next time if this is my only option. Glad I haven't noticed...
Read moreDesert Ranchos management is HORRIBLE. Terrible customer service. Rooms are not clean. Feeling desperate I paid money for the entire week. Later finding something more suitable for the situation I'm in so I asked for a refund almost immediately 15 20 minutes after leaving the place. I tried to give the key back but they hung up on me. I even offered to pay for the night I had the keys, since they were unable to rent to someone else.. to be fair to them and to me.. And they just took my money for the week without a care and wouldn't give it back or work with me. They are rude vile people who scream and holler when you try to reason. They don't care if you are satisfied with the services they provide or didn't. They are unprofessional, they aren't friendly people, and their rooms are old, out dated, and gross. Most the people there are on drugs. Save your money, don't go. Gretchen's inn Is also horrible my room smelled of drugs because it wasn't cigarettes and I was holding my nose in the...
