The Bungalows at Calistoga — Hotel in Calistoga

We absolutely LOVED our 3 night stay at The Bungalows at Calistoga! This is a family owned boutique hotel with a passion to provide their guests with an experience of warmth, spaciousness, comfort, and relaxation. It does that and so much more! We stayed in Bungalow B and love that each of the three bungalows is uniquely designed and decorated. Bea was such an amazing host and we absoletely loved our experience staying here!

The Bungalows at Calistoga are located in an excellent location and just a short walk to downtown Calistoga. The room had a fridge, stove, and oven and the kitchen was fully stocked. The bungalow even had a washer and dryer! The bed was comfy and we enjoyed the fireplace! You are a very short walking distance away from the local market, CalMart, if you want to grab something pre-made to have for dinner. Being that you are in walking distance to downtown Calistoga, you are in a great location to enjoy the restaurants, wine tasting rooms, and shops in wine country. My wife and I visited in March 2022 as we were in Napa Valley / Calistoga celebrating her birthday. The bungalows were the perfect place for our stay and my wife absolutely loved the set up and decor of the bungalows. Unit C was perfect size for the two of us to be able to spread out a bit and given that the weather was 70 and sunny all week we took advantage of the Dutch doors and Adirondack chairs on the back porch. Night time was still pretty chilly and we were able to utilize the gas fireplace which is visible to the bedroom and the family room/sitting area. The kitchen area was great as well with a stove top, microwave and refrigerator and the unit also had a washer / dryer which came in handy. The bungalows are located on a quiet street just off the main strip of Calistoga and an easy five minute walk to all shops, stores and restaurants. You can tell that a lot of love has been put in to each bungalow and the experience overall was great! Believe it or not we planned and booked a stay at The Bungalows to actually WORK! I booked a 2 night stay in Bungalow A which was the perfect space for a quick work-retreat. We wanted a space that was cute and cozy and had a kitchen so that we didn't have to worry about going out to buy meals or go out to eat [we really wanted to hunker down and knock out a productive 2 days of work]. The space is clean, well appointed, and decor is stunning. Self check-in is easy and keyless. Each Bungalow has their own private back yard/patio and the kitchen is well equipped with basic cooking needs. There's even a washer/dryer. There is a TV in the bedroom but no TV in the main living/kitchen area - if that is something that is important to you then bring a laptop or separate tablet to stream. Wifi is strong. There are only 3 Bungalows and there is a parking space for each one onsite. The complimentary bottle of wine makes for the perfect welcome beverage upon arrival. We will definitely be back!
