I absolutely adore Mad Mod Shop! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, and they clearly have a passion for what they do. I was looking for a unique piece to add to my wardrobe, and they had an amazing selection of vintage and retro-inspired clothing and accessories. It was like stepping into a time capsule, but with a modern twist. The quality of the items is top-notch, and the prices are very reasonable. I ended up finding the perfect dress, and the staff even helped me style it with some accessories I wouldn't have thought of. They have a fantastic eye for detail and really understand how to put together a cohesive look. The entire experience was delightful, and I left feeling confident and excited about my new purchase. I stopped in this store at the beginning of my stay in Calistoga. The store is beautifully curated and has a lot of fun, weather appropriate options, all with a retro twist. After purchasing my new dress and pants, I already loved this store. What really inspired me to write a review was what happened at the end of my vacation: I had an issue with one of the items I purchased (it was from an outside brand, and the problem had to do with a manufacturing issue, nothing the store did at all). The store owner was incredibly understanding/generous/flexible. She refunded me about 75% of the price, let me keep the pants, and sent me on my way with some tips about how to repair them. Coming here was the highlight of my trip to Calistoga. The shop is filled with cool and unique items and the owner was absolutely wonderful.
