My husband and I booked the Coral Room as a last minute trip to escape from the stresses of life, and SO glad we found this place. Owners Don and Melissa were so kind, so accommodating, and went way out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and happy. The service went above and beyond our expectations. We had been to B&B's in the past, but this one tops them all. *Private breakfast made to order at your specified time, *A game room with pool table, bar area, and massive DVD library, *Fresh coffee and cold bottled water available all day, *Beautiful wrap around porch perfect for enjoying nature, *Great conversation with the owners, *Delicious cookies and other treats available all day, *Extremely clean room and restroom. We were so wowed by this place and the hospitality made it even better. I plan to bring a girlfriend back next year for another weekend of relaxation! Thank you to Melissa and Don (and their family members) for making our visit so relaxing and wonderful. We will see you again soon!

Beautiful historic home. Very clean, the hosts were fantastic. The breakfast was SO filling and very tasty! Bed was super comfortable, best night's sleep for both of us in ages. Be advised, there IS a hot tub. Wish we'd come prepared for that! Stay, you won't regret it! Adding: I almost gave it 4 stars on location because I thought it was closer to Frankenmuth. It's about half an hour away. So if that's your destination, keep that in mind. I decided to give 5 stars because it was worth the extra travel!

Good place to get away from it all, yet reasonably near places like Frankenmuth and Saginaw. My room was very nice, as was the rest of the property. Upon check-in, I was given a tour, including an impressive game room, and was given a brief history of the building. Breakfast was delicious, and my hosts were very friendly and welcoming.

A little gem of a location. Clean accomodations, decent space in the bed/living room. Large bathroom with separate door inside for toilet.

The room we stayed in had a balcony that wrapped over into the common house. The common house had a pool table and TV and sofas to lounge in as well as a full fridge. There was also a urinal/toilet mini bathroom.

They offered various sodas in the common room fridge (with a tip jar should you feel inclined) and a small cooler in the upstairs lobby area that has bottled water.

The bed was comfortable and well equipped with extra blankets available. Bathroom sinks had plenty of space for multiple users at once and the shower and bath were both spacious and comfortable.

The breakfast was the best food of our trip (which included the famous breakfast spot Tony's as they deep fry their bacon). Between the two of us there was a massive breakfast that was included. A fruit parfait for each of us and the main breakfast consisting of 3 large fluffy pancakes, 2 eggs, three strips of bacon, and nice crispy hash browns. (They offered a simple menu with a few choices). A bit too much food for us to handle but there were no complaints.

Will definitely try again in...

This quaint old historic home is beautifully appointed with gorgeous antiques and yet is as comfortable as any modern hotel. It’s like a step back in time to the 1880s when the home was first built. The wrap-around veranda is reminiscent of the Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island (without the lakefront view of course). The furnishings reflect the opulence of the Gilded Age but are comfortable and inviting. The bed was one of the most comfortable we’ve experienced in our travels and the bathroom offered a large shower and jacuzzi tub beyond our expectations for an historic home. We were able to relax with friends in the game room as if in our own home. Miranda, the house manager, was very knowledgeable about the property and its history, and made us feel like family. Don, the owner who lives on the property, greeted us later in our stay and made us feel welcome in his home. The property is only a short drive from Frankenmuth but without the tourist trap prices. It’s worth...
