5 Stars – A Hidden Gem of a Diner! I stumbled across this diner by chance, and I'm so glad I did. From the moment I walked in, I felt right at home. The staff is incredibly welcoming, treating everyone like a regular—even if it’s your first time. The interior has that classic diner charm: cozy booths, and just the right amount of nostalgia. As for the food? Absolutely delicious. I ordered the classic bacon and eggs with a side of pancakes, and everything was cooked to perfection. The coffee was hot, strong, and constantly refilled—just how it should be. They clearly take pride in their cooking and service. Prices are reasonable, portions are generous, and the atmosphere is relaxed. It’s the kind of place where you can linger over breakfast or swing by for a quick bite and a smile. I’ll definitely be coming back—and bringing friends next time! Highly recommend if you're looking for comfort food, friendly faces, and that old-school diner experience done right.

Food came out quickly. I was there at 1pm and ordered breakfast, ham and cheese omelet. There was very little ham and a lot of cheese, good flavor, personally I would have like less cheese and more ham. Hash brown were cooked perfectly. I was welcomed by the staff, I ordered coffee and my cup was never empty, staff was very attentive, and checked on me.

Coming back from a vacation or a long weekend up in Casevill or Sebewaing you sometimes pack up early and get on the road as soon as possible. About an hour or so you get hungry, were can you get some quality food and service? Caro State Street Dinner. Nothing Earth shattering, just good food and great service. We will be back.

Absolutely great food, unfortunately the waitress was rude :( asked about the Swiss cheese on the Italian steak sandwich and got straight attitude about how it's just how the owner made the menu. I tried to just laugh if off but that didn't work. She had a short attitude and it proceeded through the visit. She delivered the food and never came back. I watched her go to each table and be sure everything was fine, but never ours. She never stopped to ask how the food was, had she stopped I would have let her know how fantastic it was. Once we were done and had cleared the table into one neat pile and waited she came by to put the bill on the table and hastily walk away without a word. I was talking to my mom and trying to decide what dessert she wanted as I had heard her ask the other tables if they were thinking about dessert. But with that I said let's just go. I'm so bummed as I really love their food :( I hope the lack of tip was a sign. I am one who actually tips well over 20%. A $10 tip on a $20 bill would have been nothing for as great as the...

Breakfast this morning sausage tasted like was going bad. Bacon undercooked pancakes undercooked. When told wait staff about it, tryed being polite, but staff and owner .talked about us from the kitchen so all could heat, and told us it was just us. I have ate there in the past and it was good, which I told them by the time they we're done saying it was us. I just told them it was terrible, and I would not be back anymore. Their public relations sucked, though they did take off the price for the meat. But the only thing good today was the French toast, and the the McDonald's I had after.vWould not recommend eating here, but maybe it was just an off day, and maybe lunch...
