Earlier this evening, I waited in the car while my Husband rented a room. The desk clerk was helpful when we went in to put our suitcases in the room, but we were struck by the unpleasant smell of the hotel, which I can't even begin to imagine how to describe. We got into the room, which was clean & tidy & didn't smell nearly as unpleasant as the lobby & hallway. Then we heard yelling & arguing coming from the rear parking lot, & looked out the window to see a 20-something year old couple arguing, with the woman crying. The man noticed us looking, & we closed the blinds. We decided to go to dinner near-by (at The Trolley Stop), where we both discussed how unsettling & uneasy we were with the clientele at the hotel. Upon returning to the hotel the unpleasant smell was fully covered up & replaced by the smell of weed, & the couple was now joined by two more 20-something year old men, & they were all loudly discussing/debating/arguing about something in the front parking lot. My Husband noted that the man now knew what room we were in (from the window, earlier) & what car we drive. We decided to cut our losses & leave. We picked everything up, loaded up the car, & left, deciding that we'd rather drive the remaining 4.5 hours of a 14.5 hour trip than to take a chance on staying at this hotel tonight. Probably nothing would have happened & everything would have been fine, but the atmosphere of the hotel just left us feeling not at all comfortable...
Read moreDO NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, STAY AT THIS HOTEL(unless you like getting robbed)! I had the worst hotel experience of my life here. First, we arrive at the hotel, and are immediately told the room we booked with two beds is “under maintenance,” and we could have either one bed or a refund. After being told there was nothing that could be done, our group decided to buy an air mattress for the room. We get back, and miraculously a room with two beds became available. The only catch was we had to pay an extra $30 per night. There was no hot water for the shower. If you ran the water for several minutes, it would get slightly warm. The “hot breakfast” was basically toast, cereal, and some fruit. Our room keys kept deactivating, and we constantly had to replace them. The best part of all was that while my group was at the first day of the festival we were attending, the hotel staff went in my room, and stole from me, despite having the “do not disturb” sign on the door. They didn’t take any of my electronics that could be tracked, just stuff like cash, that couldn’t be reported. I will NEVER stay at this, or any other “Quality” Inn, ever again. It should be known as the Lack of Quality Inn because it is the worst hotel in which I’ve ever stayed. If I could give them 0/5 stars, I would, but I can’t so 1/5 it is. This hotel should go out...
Read moreFor one night stay on 07/17/22 weekend The place seemed clean at first glance but wiping surfaces revealed dirt and the floors had debris in the corners... Microwave oven was not plugged in and had to be placed elsewhere to be plugged in. Phone on nightstand was just a decoration as no cable was connected to it. Found this out when trying to reach front desk at 10:25pm when water was leaking onto the floor from the AC unit by the window in the room. Walking to front desk was also challenging as well since door to lobby was locked for inside access from checked-in guests. Had to use an outer door to go outside the building and then walk to front door for lobby access... and of course that door was locked. Access to lobby from side window was there but no one was at the window. As a paying guest, it would have been great to at least have access to front desk help. On checkout there was a lady who I must say knows what customer service should be but promise of a manager attending to my case did not come through as I have not received any communication or points on my choice...
