Checkers — Restaurant in Maryland

Whenever I'm in Baltimore for work, I try to stop at this Checkers when I can and I've never been disappointed. This is probably the best Checkers I've been to as well! The food here is always perfect and honestly, nothing short of that either. The burgers I've got from here always look like they're about to go into a commercial, that's how well put they are and the fries are SUPER crispy and so good. I just ate here a few hours ago and I already want to go back for another baconzilla. I'm not even exaggerating about the quality either, but I attached a photo as well to show off the burger I get (it's always like this!).

The staff here are always super friendly as well. It's always a quick time in the drive through and the times that I've walked up to the window up front, everyone I've talked to has been really nice. If you do walk up and order food, they do have an outdoor seating area with tables if you want to eat there or in your car. The parking lot is kind of small though but that would be my only complaint, but isn't the businesses fault exactly for that.

HIGHLY recommend this place if you're traveling through Baltimore or nearby, it's about 10 minutes outside of Baltimore but definitely worth it if you...

Since I work late, this Checkers is on my way home.

On this fateful night, I ordered the Smokey BBQ bacon buford med with a Barqs root beer. Or as my eyes saw it on that night, the #1 Combo meal as it is so intimately known at this late hour.

Little did I know what I was getting myself into.

The fries! Supurb with their blend of spices, the Barqs root beer! Sweet, cool & crisp like a cold morning with 0% humidity!

The burger! Oh the burger!

Upon my first bite of this divine delectable & delicious burger, all I saw was a bright flash as my tongue began to dance and my taste buds cheered like their team had won the super bowl, the Stanley Cup, the world series, and every Olympic gold medal known to man all at the same time!

Until that night, I had never ate at Checkers nor had I ever said the words, "#@&$ that's good"

But after that fateful night, I will return for another burger from the mighty meat gods who created the Smokey BBQ Bacon...

Was trying to pick up one small meal on my way home. There was a horrible storm and it was pouring, visibility was bad on the road! No way was I going to roll down my car window and soak the inside of my car and myself ordering at the intercom machine. It didn't seem that other people were using it. There were three customers ahead of me and I did not see one of them roll down the window to place an order, they instead drove up to the cashier's window. I also imagined that the employees would be considerate enough to accept orders at the cashier's window where there was cover from the storm and one could roll down the car window without completely getting soaked.

Once I got to the cashier's window I explained and was told I'd have to drive back around and place my order at the intercom machine. I found her response to be inconsiderate—I left. Bad...
