Our recent visit to Chuck E Cheese ended horribly. We didn't go in with the highest expectations but we actually had a lot of fun playing games. The pizza was ok. It wasn't super crowded and my kids had fun. Until we tried to redeem my daughter's points for prizes. We had to wait about 10 minutes before someone came to help us. During those 10 minutes. we carefully planned out exactly what items my daughter wanted, which totaled 375 points. We had multiple ticket receipts, so we selected receipts totally 405. The employee who was "helping" us snatched the receipts from me and added them up with her calculator. As she was taking them, I said "there are 405 there!" Once she added them, she crumpled up the tickets and threw them on the floor. I looked at her calculator and saw it said 293. Now, I'm sure I handed her 405 because we had 10 minutes to kill so I had checked and rechecked. I pointed this out and she said "You didn't give me 405. You gave me what I'm telling you that you gave me." Well ok then...... I started pointing out the items my daughter wanted. One was a slinky. There were 4 in the case. I asked for the slinky. She said they were out of them. I pointed out there were 4 in the case. Her response was to yell "Did you not hear me?? I said I don't have a key to that case. And it's locked. And I still don't have a key." Ok. No slinky. Next my daughter asked for a keychain from a tray labeled "125." The same tray was in all 3 cases, with the same items, all labeled 125. When I asked for the keychain, she said "Those are 400 points and even if you had 400 points you can't have one." I explained that it is clearly labeled 125. Her response was "well my manager said that everyone on this shelf is 400 points no matter what the labels say. I suggested that maybe her manager would like to come out and help us? She ignored me and threw a keychain on the counter from the tray. Last, my daughter wanted a lollipop labeled $1.49. I had $2 out to purchase it. I asked for the lollipop and laid the $2 on the counter. She snatched the cash and walked away and started to help the next guest. So my daughter had to walk away without using most of the points she earned and I never got my change! The worst part was all of this happened in front of my 8 year old. She was so upset she just wanted to leave. She worked hard for 2 weeks to "earn" her trip to Chuck E Cheese and was devastated that it ended like that. She didn't even want to eat her lollipop. Again, I didn't go in with high hopes, but this employee had to make a significant effort to be this horrible. Very disappointing. We will certainly not be coming back...
Read moreI had my son’s b’day last Saturday evening at Chuckee Cheese, Baltimore National Pike. Worst experience ever. It’s very upsetting when you pay so much but don’t get the proper service. The party was at 5.30 p.m. & we were asked to come 15 mins early which we did, but we didn’t have a party host until 5.30p.m. The party host said she’s new there and didn’t know anything. Our table wasn’t set up. No balloons were on our party table. They gave us only 2 tables for 20 kids. No place to put gifts & party favors. The gave us another table only in the middle of the party.
Later the manager gave us a new party host who wasn’t very cooperative either. Worst thing was with our star package we are supposed to get 4 pizzas but they gave us only 3 & delayed bringing the pizzas, when kids and guests were all waiting for more than 15 mins for pizza. Though the package came with 4 pizza, they gave us only 3 and charged for the forth one.
Above all they told us to cut the cake after the count down and then chuckee mascot would come sing the song. We waited for the count down and just before the count down was supposed to be over, they started the count down again. The kids got restless & so we went ahead and cut the cake.
Later the mascot came down singing but just stood and danced with the kids in one of the other parties which was going on in the room. When I approached the manager and requested the mascot to come near my kid, he was very very rude and terribly said the mascot cannot come to our party table. I don’t know why I paid $361+ $50 deposit to get this terrible service. They also said, I get 20 more points when I order online which they didn’t give me. After all these mess up I didn’t want to ask that points too.
I wouldn’t recommend this place for parties to anyone. Very rude people & worst...
Read moreI booked a birthday party for my daughter not too long ago. The location i was aware that is smaller than others Chuck e Cheeses in MD, but the problem wasn’t that… i don’t know if all of the stuff is so unprofessional like the stuff we got but there where two girls that were so rude, and they couldn’t wait for us to get out!! I know you can be tired but i bet you know what it takes to work at a loc like this which includes KIDS! They brought the food one by one and not all together and all of my guests were hungry as hell at the end because the food did not came in time, we had ordered also wings and fries and these came at a difference of 10 minutes… and i have to mention the guy that played Chuck e Cheese for the show was SMELLING WEED LIKE HE WORE A PEFUME OF WEED, all the kids and guests felt it and it was so weird… but worse than that is that they forgot to bring the dippin’ dots ice cream for the kids, which it was included in the orice i paiddd, i asked at the end and they gave us a bag of 10 ice cream but for nothing because all the guests already left.. and also they closed the prize store before all the kids got the chance to take their prizes even my daughter which was the birthday girl did not get the chance to take her prize. They forgot a lot of things that were included in the package that i got and i was so sad about all the situation because I should’ve book at another location! We’ll never go back to this location. 😶 ( and not to mention they charged me more because i’ve seen when i got home in the receipt, i know it was my fault i did not check at the right time but they were...
