Horrible Mess, I Am So Disappointed. I came here to my local nail salon for the 1st time to get my eyebrows waxed. Well the first red sign was that one of the nail technicians asked me and several others if she could wax us out in the waiting area to avoid the long wait for the 1 private waxing room that was already occupied. I and others declined and said we would wait.
Well, I wish I had just declined and left. While getting my eyebrows done I ended up opening my eyes at the end as she was cleaning up only to see that she had used unsanitized utensils on my face that had been used on everybody who entered that room and I also saw that the wax stick that she had used on my face she put it back into the wax. That was enough for me to determine that I was not going to come back.
After leaving my eyebrows felt a little sore but I figured it would subside and it was like that because they were freshly waxed, underlying my thoughts was a prayer that they weren't infected or anything by the Dirty Mess of supplies that was used on my face.
Anyway, wake up the next day and they still hurt, go to the mirror and to my surprise there are several scabs/ burns on my eyes. I immediately put neosporin on them. I called the nail salon and was told to put neosporin on my eyes. I stated that I would come back at my earliest convenience to let them see what they had done and to get my money back. Once i went back, my eyes were not addressed but apparently looked over until i had to stop the lady from trying to justify this happening and take a look at my eyebrows. I was pretty much told that it may be the "facial products " i use and i shouldn't get wax with using certain facial cleansers. That is understandable but I've been using the same products for years and never had an issue with waxing , second as you can see from the picture the location of the burns are on my eyelids. I never put facial products on my eyelids. The lady tried convincing me that some people get burned because of facial products instead of just saying "we apologize for this happening to you". I left even more Disappointed and now upset. I will be calling the...

Visit this location on 4/23/22 because my regular salon was only accepting cash. So I decided to try A 1 Nails for a Manicure/pedicure. My first plus was they werenāt busy. I was immediately serviced by an older Asian lady who exemplified great customer service. Set me up in the chair and began my pedicure. I observed her technique and thought okay sheās older, been around awhile and appeared to be the boss. I relaxed myself and assumed it would be alright. Pedicure done and the hot mess of a job was hidden with toe guards and fake slippers!š”
Manicure was done just a clear polish job. Did a much better job!
Please do yourself a favor do not allow the older Asian woman do your pedicure. Went next door to M&T Bank pulled out some cash and went back to regular nail shop for re- polish.
Iām going with cash the next time to my...
