I originally booked a double Queen and was told the one I booked wasn’t and to rebook so I did. It was supposed to have an accessible shower and shower chair and accommodate my service animal. The room was not accessible and in fact didn’t fit a shower chair. The lady asked if a first floor room was ok for a service animal and I said as long as it’s quiet and doesn’t sound like someone is coming through the floor she said they were mostly empty so there was no problem. She then asked since it was a few days stay if we wanted room cleaning I said yes. First night in the room I noticed no shower chair and my husband went to the front desk she said all the accessible rooms were booked and would at least find me a chair. She asked to see my reservation and I showed her the communication with “the management”. She said she’d find a chair. The only ones they had didn’t fit in the tiny tub so it couldn’t be accommodated. Then there was someone stomping around upstairs so I called front desk to which her response was there was a heavy set gentleman in the room upstairs next to the one above my room and it was too late to move me because she thought my preference was a 1st floor room and I said no I said a quiet room you offered 1st floor and told me it wasn’t an issue because you were mostly empty now all accessible rooms are booked and someone is stomping around above us. I asked about refund policies and she said full refund 24 hours before so I was out of luck. I resigned myself to staying as most of my wedding group is also staying here. Fast forward to next morning and the full breakfast was 2 types of cereal with toast you make and juice. Not very diabetic friendly. We went out to get some of our wedding stuff done and came back around 2 pm and noticed no clean towels and no garbage removed so we asked the same front desk lady, remember the one that asked if I wanted the room serviced? Why our room wasn’t serviced she responded that not all rooms can be serviced due to low staff. We ended up asking for trash bags and new towels to do it ourselves. It took two hours to get these items. The pool slide was also off limits to kids due to low staff. The vending machine was broken and as the front desk stated has been for awhile. When we asked about a comp we were simply told we booked through a third party and would have to request the comp from them, but I paid the hotel directly for our full stay so I think this could have been accommodated. I also haven’t slept more than s couple hours because the bed is so hard it hurts my back and the pictures of the the room look way different as the room is way smaller. When I asked the front desk about the deception of the pictures she said it was obviously staged to look bigger in the pictures and before they remodeled them. This has been the stay from hell and I wouldn’t...
Read moreI would give Zero stars if I could. Green bananas and cereal bars, and no open pool are the least of the complaints. We stayed here for the Thanksgiving holiday and our first two nights were ok. However on the 3rd night we returned after being out all day to discover wet carpet outside our bathroom and a pile of wet rags that had been left there. My partner had requested clean towels be brought to our room before he left for the day and we came back to soaked rags in the bathroom doorway. When he went downstairs to find out what was going on we learned we were not supposed to have been allowed access to the room as there had been a plumbing issue in our absence. No one called us to tell us. We were told we had to pack up and leave as we could not stay in that room and no other rooms were available. Super 8 put me and my family out on the street at 11pm. We were told we would need to speak to the day manager. When we went back the following day we were told it was our fault and we had allowed the toilet to become clogged and overflow, which is not true at all! The day manager said "her girl" on day shift had not locked us out as instructed and we had "from 4pm check in time until the time you did come back to find out what happened." She then changed her story to say they had not discovered the issue with the plumbing till shortly before we returned to our room. My partner informed her when he asked for towels earlier in the day the water level was elevated in the toilet and she said her maintenance man would go up and fix it. Then they claimed they had proof in the way of pictures showing wet footprints in the carpet, when we hadn't been in the room all day! I asked the pictures be sent to me, they never were. Then she had to speak to her night person, as the day manager argued she wasn't going to comp the night we were put out with no accommodations, as we could have stayed in the room, AFTER the night clerk told us we couldn't and even called us to make sure we had left the room. They also charged me another 200 dollars because they had to move other guests due to the water leak. The manager said she would have to speak to the owner but they would not be comping our stay, period as the water leak was our fault. Don't...
Read moreWorst experience at a hotel ever. I don't wear masks, first off. Chelsea was at the front desk. I am a business owner and local resident in Central Point. This place was filled with homeless people and many rooms had multiple dogs. Chelsea put me 2 doors from 2 dogs that were incessantly barking for over 10 minutes. We have 10 minutes of video to prove. I complained. We never stepped foot into our room, never keyed in. I provided her a reply of what we heard. She rolled her eyes after I asked for any other room. She treated us like criminals and had to go inside the room we hadn't entered in order to determine if we destroyed the room. Pitiful. She moved us to the opposite side of the hall 1 floor up.
Dogs were barking on that floor as well, and they were all unattended. Many people weren't wearing masks but Chelsea said she wouldn't check me in until I put a mask on. I was told over the phone when I made the reservation that a $150 deposit would be required. Upon arrival, I was told it would $250 and cash only. I literally had to leave and get cash for this.
I watched staff in the morning running around cleaning rooms without a mask. I was too slow to get a pic of them. Upon checking out, the new gal at the desk told me to put a mask on. I declined. Another gal told me I would be asked to leave. I was leaving anyway. She began lecturing me that me wearing a mask is keeping people safe. I am negative for Covid so the argument was nothing but a straw man argument. She went into the back and I could hear her asking a manager to trespass me. Her and the manager came out and we're verbally saying, "Wow...really? REALLY! I left the building. The girls at the desk were more concerned with us disobeying rules as opposed to common sense. We were just treated poorly because of me verbally saying no to the mask while other patrons and staff were walking around freely without masks. We won't be back. If you disagree agree with mandates, this is not the...
