To sum it up... NASTY AND SKETCHY Came down to ATL for 2 nights, unfortunate circumstances caused us to come in late first night so called ahead to make sure it would be OK. Was told as long as we were there before midnight. We arrived between 11:30-11:45...Parking lot filled with questionable individuals (some trying to holler at my wife), front desk gate closed, used the phone and was told someone be there in 5mins. 15mins later called again.. said it'd be 15mins now. Well that didn't happen so started calling again, this time answer was unknown. I started hearing noises behind desk gate so proceeded to knock on it and the door to side... nothing. Wife started beating on it...nothing. little bit later another guest came by and said it appeared the nightshift employee was late (acted like reoccurring thing) and informed us no water due to a main busted down the road. Few mins after this woman " Raven" comes out of office and asked if that was us banging, yes it was! She tells us she clocked out at 10 and couldn't help us... she was doing night laundry, wife informed her she works at ESA she interrupts my wife and says then you know! (Wife says she has helped plenty off the clock) She obviously was doing night laundry off the clock! She leaves. About 5-10 mins later nightshift lady arrives, tells us previous girl could have helped us but just watched us on the camera. Got us checked in, went to room... first thing we noticed very spacious, but a bad odor (smelled like cigarettes and animals) stepped in and shoes felt like they got glued to the floor! So sticky... few areas it felt like I was going to fall through the floor! Fan in bathroom would make a horrible sound! Luckily brought a case of water with us to brush teeth etc. In the morning got up , no water still...got ready for our activities planned for day, left and came back later... water still out but we had already decided to change location the night before. Went by desk and checked out, person working told us they heard about our incident and apologized and stated something was going to be done about it. We moved over to the Crestline location which was SOOO much better! Highly recommend!! As for this one I would describe at best a crack hotel!...

6/21/25 We have gone back, to give another try. Now staff from the front desk are entering the room WITHOUT permission. Not the cleaning staff, the FRONT DESK. We were given no explanation. Further sorriness and disrespect. We were charged extra fees. On the night crew, the works are in vacant rooms with girlfriend/boyfriend, asking not to be disturbed, literally. Kendrick Wilson was the best worker, now moved to another location.
7/22/25 The attendant Awa that is at the desk, needs training. She is disrespectful. She is aggressive and VERY unprofessional. When approached about her attitude she is creating a false narrative about the patrons. She is threatening the patrons. She follows the patrons out of the building. She is NOT an asset to this location. She is abusing the littlr authority she has. Threatening to push people out their rooms and off the property when she is told how poor her behavior is being displayed. Kendrick is sorely missed.
8/30/25 After reporting Awa to the corporate office, there was NO FOLLOW-UP or return call. Which makes this AWA person a danger to guest. If she so feels moved she can LIE and actually be a danger to a guest as a result. I WOULD ADVISE to stay clear of ALL Extended Stay facilities no matter HOW low rates. This organization does NOT care about its guest. They allow the staff to be abusive, incompetent, disrespectful, dishonest, lazy. I believe this is due tobdesperation for workers. Extended Stay is willing to hire ANYONE they can get. Quality employees is NOT their focus. SHAME ON...
Read moreThe first room (218) I had the smoke alarm battery was out which caused it to greet me with a chirp. Knowing what it was I called the front desk and Anderson game me a different room(225). Cool for that. Get settled in and I need to use the bathroom. The water valve for the toilet was turned off.😔 Cool no problem I figured that out after freaking for a minute. Then on subsequent flushes the toilet never refilled with enough water to actually flush anything. The notice on top of the tank lid told me that this was an awesome new water saving toilet. Yeah well I had to manually hold down the float valve to get enough water in the tank to flush it, everytime I went to use the toilet. Y'all might want to rethink those fancy water saving tank pumps. During the evening after I had shut off all the electronics and was settling into bed I heard this rumbling noise like a generator, I thought that's not the elevator because on the other side and down the hall. Had to medicate myself so I could sleep through the night. Went to check out and this poor put upon desk clerk (Jasmine) who obviously would rather do anything but a customer service job couldn't figure out how to apply my AAA discount and said someone who knew more would look into it later. Oh well! The only reason I stay here is because it's convenient to my job at Emory. Honestly the Emory Conference Center is not any better but is twice the rate. On the plus side the shower had good water pressure and it stayed warm when I...
