The other 5 star review is obviously fake as it is the only review from the fake user. This is real from a real experience with the manager. I wasn't going to bother complaining about not getting the sandwich I wanted even though I ordered a Steak and Cheese and it didn't have any cheese. Easy mistake, forgot to add cheese and toast it. The response I got from the manager, Kamlesh was incredible. Did Subway forget to train it in customer service? First rule of running a restaurant, don't call your customers liars when they respond to a survey. It replied to my survey with, you are a liar, my team made your sandwich exactly as you ordered it. I have no words to describe my shock to find that vile in my email after I took the time to answer their survey. I had a hard time finding this store to leave a review. I can't believe you are too cheap to list your restaurant on Google maps. I hope you go out of business soon so a new restaurant can take your place. PLEASE DO NOT EAT HERE while Kamlesh is in charge.
Update: the last few reviews confirm nothing has changed and Kamlesh is still "managing" this disgraceful excuse for a subway. Please cut your losses and close shop so the neighborhood can get a better store. The subway on 2904 Yorkmont Rd takes orders online and has made my sandwiches to order every week accurately...
Read morePoor poor customer service. I spoke when I walked in twice before it was acknowledged and the rep was sweeping the floor when I walked in. I was directly beside her. I am now wondering if she changed her gloves before making my sub. The vegetables have been cross contaminated with other vegetables most of the time I walk into subway they do a good job cleaning extra vegetables from areas that they don’t belong. There’s cheese and red sauce in the spinach onions in the lettuce. I could go on but I’m not oh there was frost around the jalapeños and black olives I was hoping it was a mold but it was a lot of frost. She gave me the feeling that she didn’t wanna be bother and asking her any questions was just absolutely too much. Being that you have on a mask speaking of your eye contacts will help a customer feel welcome looking at her eyes I can already tell she just did not want to be bothered she wanted to just sweep the floor the other rep eventually came from the back she was in the bathroom. She also said nothing but that’s cool this is my first and my last time coming to this location they also had a sign in front Stating that they’re closing at 4 PM which is odd because hours are from 8 AM to 9 PM. I ordered a sandwich that listed turkey, bacon, fresh mozzarella, and avocado--one of the most expensive sandwiches on the menu. I requested that the staff member swap out the bacon for salami, as salami is listed as a CHEAPER meat... And I really hate bacon. Well, that was absolutely not possible. I had to get my sandwich EXACTLY as written. (shrug) Okay. Whatever. I have never had an issue at any other Subway swapping meats. But at this location, no substitutions.
But what REALLY got me was the staff absolutely meant NO SUBSTITUTIONS. Like, not even the veggies. When I asked to get cucumber and banana peppers on my sandwich, I was told, "We are not supposed to make any changes to the sandwiches. We need to make them exactly as listed."
I am sure both shock and annoyance showed on my face because the staff member quickly "made an exception, just this once"...
I work right around the corner from this location and I will absolutely take the advice from other reviewers... And visit a different location. At least until the management/ownership changes.
