I decided that I wanted to goto Boston for Christmas with my honey and our dog. I rented a studio which included a stove, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, table and chairs, bathroom 2 queen Beds and a living area. I thought it would be great if we wanted to stay in and relax. Most hotels charge just incidental up front. I went to check in told them I had a dog extra $100 no problem. They charged $50 a night on top of the $100 plus $15 a day for parking no matter if it was covered or not. Plus my rental fee so over $1000 for 4 nights charged immediately. I went to the grocery store to stock up and crated my dog in the room while we went. I have a 7 month English bulldog didn’t want to leave him in the car because it’s cold. Got a call from the hotel at 7pm dog barking and I was not registered for a dog! She didn’t ask she accused us so I went back to the hotel no problem. I told her it’s a dog friendly hotel he will bark if he hears noise and yes I registered him you charged us $100 extra. Then we had a family of gymnast above us. I called to front desk to see if that can get them to stop jumping. I was told quiet time is at 10pm but, you called me at 7 for our dog barking. The behavior above us was non stop jumping, moving furniture 3 am non stop I called to front desk and was put on hold never answered. Just not good service at all no smiling faces and they truly didn’t care. It was the way the manager handles herself from the beginning I wi not be back we left a day early. Also, people smoking weed right outside the front door in the halls. Just not a great experience I won’t be back.

Don't recommend as they don't honor CONFIRMED reservations. This has increasingly become an issue with Hilton properties so I began tracking it. I use Hilton over Marriott because of the app and being able to use digital keys. The benefit of not having to go by the front desk in busy travel is really key. This property is an absolutely not. I checked in yesterday- as a Hilton diamond member choosing my room (541) on the top floor and at the end of the hall for quietness. Because I know that's an issue for me sleeping. Because this has happened so much, I've started screenshotting the confirmation. On the way from the airport I see I still don't have a digital key despite my confirmed check in being two hours before. I know there's likely a problem. Sure enough, the gentleman asks for my id and I have to re-enter the same credit card (the one I already had on the app and worked smoothly last night at a different hotel). He hands me keys and directs me to elevators. At which time I see my room is now 222. I go back to the desk and show them the confirmation to which they play dumb- "it just gave me this room" and another lady "I'm sorry. Maybe the top two floors is an airline and they're together all we have is third floor" in the most insincere apology you can imagine. It's not about floor, it's about noise. The airline may have status but I do as well- as a diamond member for many many years. So given I'm here for two days staring at a parking lot best I can do is warn others. Really been disappointed in Hilton lately. Do better.

No, this place didn't meet my expectations. The dishwasher had a long thick rubber just laying in the dishwasher. The vent under the microwave is hanging off. Do not stay in Room 436, it is the worst. The door is not on the hinges correctly. It looks like someone tried to break into the door. I can see out in the hall through.the crack of my door. The deadbolt lock is not working on my door. I had engineer to lie and said that the deadbolt is not supposed to be engaged. I guess he thought that I was stupid. I asked another guest. can I see if I can turn their deadbolt in their room. Why is it that their deadbolt lock works? I am an inspector and I inspect all properties including hotels. The air conditioner unit suck. There should be a control in the other area of the hotel not just the bedroom. We suffered doing this stay. I have stayed at many different Hilton's hotel and this is the worst one. Brianna at the front desk is not nice. Stay away from Room 436 because something happened in here. I did asked the person at the front desk, did something happened to this room in the past. If the engineer would have inspected this room before then he would have known that these problems were happening.

The way in which I was treated here during my stay was just beyond disappointing. I would never recommend staying at this hotel to anyone. My boyfriend, mother and I were completely disrespected in every possible way.

My mother was cooking dinner and somehow it triggered the smoke alarm in our suite. We proceeded to open up the door so that the smoke can leave the room but were told to close the door closed (it would trigger the alarm in the hallway). About three minutes later, the engineer made his way up to our suite. My mother told him that there was no fire. He then closed the front door and asked my mother if he could go inside of the room. My mother notified him that her daughter (myself) was inside and suggested he knock before entering. The engineer knocked on the door twice and barged right in without waiting for my approval to come inside of the room. I felt completely violated and embarrassed as I did not have any pants on. I looked at him in the eye and told him that I did not have any pants on but the only thing he said to me was "oh I'm sorry" and continued to head towards the window (he needed to open up the window so that the air can escape). I found it completely unprofessional and disrespectful that he didn't exit the room and wait until I had time to put some pants on. It also didn't help that he ended up spilling some monster energy drink on the floor.

It gets worse. I called the front desk to let them know about the situation and Maria (front desk agent) did not seem to care at all. The only thing she stated was "Im sorry, I will speak to him." Are you kidding me?! Thats all you have to say about what I just explained to you?

After speaking to Maria, my mother called back and spoke with the manager that was there at the time (don't remember her name). Of course we were met with the same attitude like Maria. She was completely defensive and biased. She did not offer any kind compensation whatsoever. My mother had to literally say "you aren't going to offer any compensation?" The manager's response was "what do you want?" Eventually my mother asked for at least one free night but she told her "no" because there was no inconvenience towards you. The manager ended up speaking to the general manager to help resolve the situation, but the only thing he offered was $50.

As if $50 is enough to compensate for the humiliation I had just gone through. A man had just walked in on me while I was half naked. A grown man too! Who knocks on a door twice and not wait for a response from whomever is inside of the room?! That is just not okay.

At around 6:30pm, my boyfriend arrived. I filled him in on the situation and he was furious. He decided to call the front desk and was met with such bad attitude. She was constantly cutting him off and kept on dismissing him. He eventually told her "I don't like your tone" and she replied "I don't like YOUR tone". He then asked her for her name and her response was "MA-RI-AH" So rude!

Afterwards, I called again because I was not over the fact that $50 was all that was offered. I spoke with the manager and requested that I speak with the general manager directly. He was not listening to a single word I was saying. The only things he stated was "he was just doing his job and didn't do anything wrong since he knocked." At that point, I was just in awe of what horrible customer service this place was offering. After all this back and forth, he finally decided to remove the cost of one of the nights.

I have never been filled with so much anger, embarrassment and disrespect all at once ever in my life. No one should ever feel violated nor uncomfortable when on vacation. You should feel safe knowing that your space is yours and that no one will disrupt it. The worse part about this whole situation was that it was on Thanksgiving! Avoid this place at all costs! Worse staff Ive ever encountered in my life and I used to work in the hospitality realm. I'm still waiting...

Came to Boston area for work 39 nights stay. Location of the hotel is a bit challenging, limited food options in the area didn't try Floramo's yet. Zero entertainment around. When I first arrived I was told by my colleagues not to walk far around at night. The rooms are suite style with a modern design and furniture. Kitchen consists of of a full size fridge with freezer, toaster, dishwasher, electric stove and modern microwave, sink has garbage disposal. Dishwasher detergent and dish soap are provided along with all the plates glasses, cutlery and cooking accessories and dishcloth and drying cloth. The couch is very comfortable and turns into an extra bed. Large TV with a long list of satellite channels is available. Lighting and decor are well done and add to the balance of of modern look and comfort. The bathroom is spacious and the shower has amazing water pressure which is great if you switch the shower head to massage mode. Neutrogena shampoo, conditioner, body soap, face soap and moisturizer are provided, a makeup remover product is also available. A large mirror and 3 sets of bath, hand towels and wash cloths are displayed, hair Dryer is in the bathroom. Closet is a bit small and I didn't have enough hangars for the 7day supply of work shirts, suits and jackets I need for work. An iron plus ironing board is in the closet. Laundry service is available, no self service laundry on the property but Scrubs laundromat is 2 blocks away and I've done laundry there every weekend of my stay. Housekeeping does a perfect job of keeping the room refreshed on daily basis and the towels are and sheets always smell and look clean. A cute small indoor pool is on the property as well as a nice sized fitness room with all the necessary features, I didn't try either yet. Breakfast is until 9.30am and the staff is pretty precise about that, weekends breakfast goes to 10am. All that you could look at for is available from pancakes, waffles, eggs, potatoes, fruits, breads, bagels, pastries and a breakfast meat on rotation, 3 types of juices, yogurts, cereals... Coffee and tea are available all day long in the lobby as well as a basket of apples. The sundries has some drinks, snacks and a few frozen meal options for sale to tide you over in case you haven't gone to one of the nearby supermarkets. Stop and shop is the closest but Market Basket is larger, has more options and fresher produce to stock up the fridge. Check in is easy, if you have Hilton Honors app you can check in using the app and use your smart phone as a room key using Bluetooth. The bar has some food options and a great beer selection. The front desk staff is very friendly and proactive with 1 exception. The shuttle drivers are very friendly. Lyft and Uber are good options to get to the downtown area otherwise the SL3 bus can get you to Boston for little money. In conclusion Homewood suites can be a good solution for long or short stays, just be prepared to make the best of the location if you...

This hotel was a mixed bag for me. I'll start with the positive...|Breakfast was great and unique compared to other hotels I've stayed in. They had a breakfast burrito bar with pork carnival and pickled onions and queso fresco. All very yummy and fresh. |The room was nice and comfortable. Would be perfect for families and long term stays, there was a decent amount of stuff in the kitchen, but it would be nice if there was a can opener, some dish soap, and a sponge. The bed was a little firm for me, but I still slept well. |On to the negative. I will take responsibility for not reading all the policies and seeing that they charge for parking, but I think they should inform you at check in. I mean it's a hotel with a private lot so I don't understand charging paying guests $30/nt for parking. There are signs in the lot but honestly the way it worded my tired brain thought that they offer parking for non guests at that price...it's a massive mostly empty lot, so to me it just seems like a scam. When the girl at the desk gave us the parking pass it would have been nice if she'd explained the cost. Additionally on the app it says $25 for self parking but I was charged $30, so $90 for my 3 nights of parking. Insane. |Tying into the first problem, the second problem was lack of communication. I messaged them through the hilton app several times before and during my stay and only received a response 1 time. The last message was on my checkout day and I was trying to not miss breakfast and could not find the time anywhere on the app or website and unfortunately they never messaged me and I did end up missing breakfast. |The only other issue was the business center, I trued to use it once during my stay and I couldn't even get either computer to turn on. |All in all the most important aspects of a hotel were adequate at this location, but mainly the parking will keep me from ever staying here again. I'm staying in a different hotel in the area tonight and they have a similar setup and don't charge for parking and I looked at numerous other hilton brand hotel in the area and they also do not charge for parking. I at least want my $15 back since they overcharged me by $5/nt or they need to update the info on the app. If you don't care about being scammed for parking this is...
