Do not stay here! I tried two different times. The reviews are correct. Yes, horrible customer service after check in. Yes, they have bugs. Yes, the lobby and parking lot are descent but everything about the room was filthy gross to the point of being willing to leave knowing there was no possibility of a refund and renting a room at the hotel next door which for the same price was beyond our expectations.
I have attempted staying twice thinking the first time was a 1 off situation. Yet we left the because the 2nd time was only worse than the 1st. The woman at check in was sweet until after we checked in probably why they have the big "no refund" sign at the front desk. She made sure to tell use multiple times this was a non smoking room to like it was a big deal. Yet of course we didn't have high expectations of the room and just needed a place to sleep. Well when I say the room was filthy I mean filthy to the point we left.
-bugs -floors not vacuumed -TV didn't work -window shade broken half hanging off -tables bathroom counter nothing wiped down -no trash can, soap, or even toilet paper -still spit on mirror from someone else brushed -towels stained or nasty dirty (wasn't about to find out which) -both sets of bed linens had excessive cigarette burn holes (noticable from room door excessive) -one dirty or stained pillow even though 2 beds -every single linen on both beds dirty or stained or burnt with cigarette holes. Seriously not even 1 clean sheet to sleep on out of 2 beds to sleep on.
To top it off I remember the no refund sign when we came in so I politely called the front desk to advise the woman of the issue to get it resolved and get some sleep. Yet not even an apology instead she started yelling at me that it was the only room left and she gave me a $10 discount for the tv not working that I didn't ask for. I clarified to her that I didn't ask for the discount or a refund just clean lines, towels, soap, and a descent place to sleep and she said she would tell housekeeping later and hung up on me. At that point I was done and we left. I sent them an email about the issues after both stays with the filthy rooms but no apology or even response.
I normally try not to leave bad reviews but this is one place people need to know about because 2 different stay months apart and they are still filthy. Yet you don't know till after you check in and can't get...
Read moreMy cousin had a room here for 3 nights last week and I have to admit, as much as I do not like leaving negative reviews, this establishment warrants one for sure! Upon entering the motel from the rear the door's tempered glass had a nice .380 caliber bullet hole in it for starters. Half of the rear parking lot was blocked off by tires, still can't figure out what that was all about. 80% of the time staff was not available at the front desk, so even the simplest of tasks like asking for soap or a roll toilet paper turned out to be an act of congress to accomplish. The hallway carpeted floors were all disgusting and not vacuumed his entire stay and the actual room floors were even worse with spots that looked to be melted candle wax or half chewed candy that was spat out and mashed into the carpet. The entire building was infested with bugs and his particular room wasn't even equipped with the typical land line phone that was operational. When we had to contact the front desk, we did so by cell phone. He was also issued a "smoking" room and their resolution / idea for such accommodations was to just remove the smoke detector from the room entirely. Which I'm pretty sure is a fire code violation. His bed sheets were in terrible shape and appeared to be filthy and or stained. At least the air conditioner, refrigerator and wifi were operational. The staff member I finally made contact with was at least friendly and provided an extra toilet paper roll when I asked. IMHO this place is in dire need of a new attentive management team that will put hygiene and safety first, and deploy a complete overhaul on this motel. As it stands now, it seems as if they do the absolute bare minimum in order to just get by. This is by far unsatisfactory....
Read moreI booked this room on 6-27-2025 for Michael Barkley through hotels.com…I live in the area but a friend was visiting from out of town and had business in a nearby city that I do not live so he need a place to stay so we went with this option and booked online based on the photos…..Upon arrival to the hotel we noticed children running around the hotel unattended as if they lived there. When we entered the 1st floor room kids were running around the back or the hotel right outside the window with trash outside that looked like it was a previous homeless encampment. As we looked around the room it was very dirty with a bad smell and when we turned the light on in the bathroom we saw roaches. We immediately called the front desk and informed them we did not want the room and would not be staying. They said ok and to drop the key at the window. We got to the window hoping to speak to someone and no one was there to accept the key back and it had not been 10 minutes since we arrived. We left the key and sought a refund through hotels.com. Hotels.com says they can’t get in touch with the hotel therefore cannot issue a refund. The hotel is saying they have not heard from Hotels.com….They are not being trustworthy at this point and I simply want my $197 plus $3 per day fee refunded to me. They have my name they know the date of reservation and they know the name the room was booked under all they have to do is submit the refund for those 2 nights and we go about our lives instead of trying to rip people off for their hard earned money. I will remove this review once my funds have been refunded and I will be coming to the property personally.
