I am a dasher, and I dash at this location several nights a week. The service is always done with a smille and a send-off of "have a safe night." Tonight was a horrible experience. Shay, who says she is a manager, was very rude.
At 11:30 p.m., I go through the line to get a door dash order. I've come through the drive line all week at this time and hadn't had an issue. After I waited in a line that was extremely slow and cars kept backing out of, I got to the intercom to ask for the dash order and was met with "You have to come inside." Surprised, I asked why and was told door dash orders are not given out until 12 pm at the window.
I asked if the order could be made because I had been sitting in the line for so long with 4 cars ahead of me. Shay replied with a hard NO. When I got to the window, I explained that I had been getting my orders all week at this time by the same young lady. I was met with rude replies and catty behavior not becoming of a managers position. I was told "well she's not supposed to do that, and I'm not doing that."
I've been in customer service for many years and in the position of management. The time it took her to go back and forth with me, she could have made the order and handed it to me and simply said next time you must come inside.
There was no one in the restaurant lobby at that time. The order was 2 things. When I told her that we should be working together because we are both trying to provide service to the customer, Shay said, "So what do you want me to do?"
Ma'am, it would be nice to treat people that come to your establishment with respect even if they're dashers. Because when I'm not working, guess which location I won't frequent. To be a manager with an attitude is not a good look for the restaurant.
As I came to write this review, I see that your rating is a 3.8, which is not a coincidence. I write Google reviews all the time giving glowing reviews. In fact, I'm in the top 10% of reviewers. I never write bad reviews even when the service isn't that good. But I will decline to take any dashes at this location from now on, and of course, I won't eat here either. Because it wasn't about the NO. It was about the service that came with the no. There is a way to have your customers feel heard, respect the rules, and service them.
I know corporate is not worried about this review because customers complain all the time, but ratings say a lot....

There’s so many things wrong with this place.
Employees. The employees are always playing around, standing around gossiping, and looking at their phones. The line in the drive thru is always long because it’s just a bunch of kids goofing off. I go inside sometimes and it’s as slow as molasses. They won’t even take your order. They force you to use the kiosk. I was standing at the pick-up area and a man came in who was elderly and went to get his order taken. The boy behind the counter told him to use the kiosk. He tried, couldn’t figure it out, and went back to the counter and the boy dismissed him. Told him if he couldn’t do it he could go through the drive thru. So he did. So rude.
Dirty. When standing at the pick-up area you can see where they are making the food. I know there will be a bit of mess. I mean, they’re making tacos, so of course. But the area is just covered in cheese, lettuce, meat. It’s very dirty. Since most people use the drive thru I guess they assume it doesn’t matter. The parlor and bathroom are the same way. Even the exterior is starting to look as old and run down.
Stolen Credit Card Info One night I went through the drive-thru and paid with my card. The girl kept my card and handed me my food and my drink. I’m used to them just swiping the card and handing it back that I didn’t notice because it was all so fast. And because I assumed she gave it back I started to takeoff and she yelled for me. So I backed to the window and another girl was handing my card to the girl at the window and she handed it to me. I thought that was weird but didn’t say anything. the next morning I got woken up by my bank calling me to confirm charges. They were not made by me. I can only assume. Read moreordered food from Taco Bell 004762 on Western Branch Boulevard in Chesapeake Virginia at 7:19 p.m. and I ordered a steak grilled burrito with no Chipotle a Dorito taco with no cheese two beef burritos with no cheese a Mexican pizza with no cheese and two large sweet teas. First they were completely out of sweet tea which I know from working in fast food myself that they make it themselves which means that they were too lazy to make more so I got a large Diet Pepsi which they were also out of and a Gatorade fruit punch. I called the restaurant because nothing was correct my son is lactose intolerant and can't have cheese therefore I ordered his food without cheese but it still came with cheese I ordered my food without tomatoes because I can't have tomatoes and it still came with tomatoes. I called and I talked to Rocco the manager on duty and told him what was wrong he told me I can come up there right now and I told him I wasn't going to but I asked him when I did come up there if he needed my name and he told me no I said well do I need my receipt and he again said no and then once I realized that none of the food was correct I went ahead and went up there because it was dinner for me and my son and I told them that hey Rocco said come up here and I'll remake my order well when they told Rocco that and he asked does she have her receipt I said no because he told me I didn't need to bring it I still have it which is why I'm able to do the survey he gave me attitude he wouldn't come to the front desk at first side note one of the chicks had super long fingernails and her fingernails were poking through her gloves which is a health hazard but I digress he gave me nothing but attitude fixing my order and he still made it incorrectly and I'm over it I will never ever go to that...
