Dairy Queen (Treat) — Restaurant in Chesapeake

I went to Dairy Queen on Western Branch Blvd and ordered three large blizzards. Once I got home and started to eat my blizzard the Oreos were very stale, they had no crunch to them. My family was very disappointed to say the least. I called the store to make them aware of this problem and the young lady Jamiella who stated she was the manager on duty told me there was nothing she could do about it. She then stated that “well I don’t know how you can say they’re stale because they recently got opened” as if to insinuate that I was lying. I said so there’s nothing that you can do to address this issue she said “NO I CAN NOT” I then asked her could I speak to someone over her she said ain’t nobody else here I’m the shift manager. I asked for the store owners number or corporate and I was told she didn’t have one. I’ve done management for many years and nothing about this says GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I was even willing to go back to the store so this problem could be rectified but she wasn’t even willing to just correct this issue. I am VERY upset and disappointed with my visit this evening. How are people writing good reviews for this location. Have they never been to the one near Home Depot in Chesapeake? I tolerated the extreme slowness of these people but I will not frequent here again. I'll drive the extra distance to go to the one near Home Depot. Faster, better service and they are not rude. This last trip on 24Oct2018 will be my last as they didn't honor my coupons correctly. Had coupon for either a free kids cone or .50 off blizzard. We chose the kid cone and they only took .50 off, they didn't give it for free. Then they even gave my change back rudely and made a comment that sounded like they were to privileged to be working there serving others....

This is my new review. They Always have good ice cream, very clean, sometimes there is a small wait. I went to DQ Sunday around 4:00. I pulled up to the ordering speaker and heard the sweetest most professional voice that DQ has ever had. She was polite, informative and made sure my order was correct. When I got to the window I was greeted with a polite smile from a beautiful young lady. She was somewhat engaging. My favorite crew was working also, (a middle age lady who always wear reading glasses and a young slim black man w/ glasses), they are "THE BEST!" I made my usual order, hot fudge sundae w/ extra nuts, it was ON POINT!!! THANK YOU DQ for a job...
