Adirondack Efficiencies — Hotel in City of Watertown

I have had decent stays at Adirondack Efficiencies a few years ago so I decided to check it out online for my medical appt in the city. As technology goes, there was an issue while trying to check-in with my online booking. As panic began to set in, Ed (the Manager) was quick to help me navigate the app & get checked in easily - providing such peace of mind that we were in good hands! It really changed the entire course of our stay to know that we would be well taken care of during an otherwise difficult, stressful time for my family.

*The room was spotless upon entry & it smelled lovely. It was a 90 degree day, so opening that door to a cool a beautiful breeze from the AC was the cherry on top! *The pool was gorgeous and the patio was beautifully adorned with loungers and tables for watching the family swim and hearing the birds sing. *The property is very well maintained with flowers and trees, play areas for the kids, fire pit and a grill. *It’s close enough to walk to all the shops & restaurants, but far enough off the busy road to not even hear any traffic. *I had wonderful conversations with the staff that contribute to keeping the hotel so nice (with smiles on their faces!) Very hard workers & very down to earth, lovely people.

Online we booked one room with a bed room and a living room area, got in and it was NOTHING like what was shown. One small tv 20in maybe. Was only one room no separate bed room, rooms was locking from a connecting room with a rusted flimsy door latch. Bugs everywhere and mold. Had a stove with no pans or pots. The ice machine didn’t work and had a HUGE mold spot next to it had to go ask the front desk for ice each time and they half the time they was rude. Last night we was there we left for them to clean the room and give us more towels etc. came back to no toilet paper and a trash bags still in the room. Came in to a bat flying around in the hotel, opened the door it finally left. They do NOT recognize any kind of service animal. As we was leaving for the store we heard what I assumed was the owner since he said something about being it, was talking to either a employee or a guest (I hope to not a guest like that) Even for a budget hotel this was disgusting and a health violation and lies about the rooms and everything else. They have a sign in the front if you leave a review you get a free soda or drink so I assume that’s why it has...

I personally loved my experience here. The rooms are quite nice just like if you were to go to a cozy cabin after that feeling of being used but yet not fully broken there’s some things here and there that can get fixed but that’s just basic preventative maintenance and I’m not really tripping on that The price of this hotel is really good if you want to find a quick place to stay for the night or stay for multiple nights I spent three nights here. I’m currently still here. And I love everything about it. Yes, the smell of the smoke is abundant and some of the rooms it’s a smell that you have to get used to other than that I find the room is really nice, but if you’re expecting perfection, go to Hilton. if you’re just looking for someplace that’s down to earth and honestly just perfect come here. I prolonged my stay just one more day just so I could try their pool out. Hope it was worth it. They’re a little things that need fixing like my toilet bowl flusher was a little broken. The hairdryer didn’t work, but most of all the biggest complaint I have is probably that some of the lights in the room don’t work other than that. The staff are...
