I stayed at the Aster Inn while attending a conference at Suncadia resort. I saved $280 by doing staying here, and got the cutest room and best service imaginable.
The family running the Aster Inn was accommodating and kind (tip: unlike big hotels, there isn't a 24-hour desk person, so call ahead if you're checking in after 10pm). Room 19 was very clean and felt airy and bright. The bathroom had a shower and a separate tub, and adequate ventilation. The bed was nice and high, and there was a desk, two chairs, tv and dvd player, fridge, microwave, coffeemaker, and an assortment of hot beverage items.
Staying here was much less expensive than the resort, and it was a 15-minute drive to the conference and back. The Aster Inn was close enough to Suncadia that I was able to come down here during breaks and check my email (free wifi!) in the garden. I highly recommend this Inn for anyone traveling...
Read moreOur daughter left a small stuffie in our room, and they not only contacted us as soon as they found it, they then mailed it to us TWICE (because of the mail carrier on our end). We are truly thankful for their kindness and patience. ||||That said, this is a charming property with much to recommend. We arrived just as the cherries and currants were ripening. Their gardens in the front and in the private courtyard are lovely; the courtyard is a wonderful place to relax after a long day of enjoying the surrounding trails. We were given the Mariners (baseball team) Suite, which included a kitchenette. The beds were very comfortable; the suite itself was immaculate (great water pressure and temperature in the bathroom). Although the hotel faces the main road, traffic noise was nonexistent. ||||Bottom line, the service and property were fantastic — I would stay there again, and have recommended...

I just pull off the hwy on late Friday afternoon and literally got the last room. The Charm was immediate. The owner, Courtney, is in HIS 80's. Yes, HIS name is Courtney. We chatted and laughed about it being a girls name. He could see I was beat and he did charge me for my little dog. They are Pet Friendly. The Bed in my room was amazing. A little kitchenette set-up with a frig. And a shower with water pressure. Could it get better???YES!! The garden is magical. With lovely patio furniture, a BBQ,apple, Pear & plum trees. Trinkets & Baubles. I was waiting for fairies to dance in the lighted trees or through the grape vines adorning the entire fron of the property. At $82.00 a night it's a bargain. You must allow your soul to visit this tranquil place and basque...
