Miners Pizza + Pastry Co. — Restaurant in Cle Elum

OK.....just OK.....sorry.....this is a Papa Murphy's wanna be and they DO NOT cut it. It is OK, but Papa Murphy has no competition here, except, Papa Murphy is 25 minutes from Cle Elum.....dang. If you have to have take n bake and can't or don't want to drive to Ellensburg, this is OK. The crust is probably the biggest disappointment, P M crust is probably the best take n bake crust out there. I suggest the Miners folks just blatantly figures out what PM is doing.....and do that. Really. We may not be back and we are local and really believe in local business....Please Miners, please try to up your crust game. It will be worth it. I am not sure if the other reviewers have had PM, but their crust is better than many cooked to order, dine in pizza shops. A hidden gem in Cle Elum.

We’ve been to Cle Elum dozens of times and never noticed this place. It’s the 4th of July weekend and we wanted to avoid long waits at a restaurant so after a quick google search found Miners Pizza. I called in and placed my order and the girl on the phone was very friendly and professional. I had a little trouble finding the place, since it’s a really small shop but was really surprised when I walked in. The restaurant is really nice, even for the area. The staff were all great and my order was ready the minute they said it would be. I didn’t see it on their website but they also order pre made salads and pints of really good looking ice cream. Instructions on how to cook the pizza were simple and they turned out great. I think this is our new go to while visiting.
