I have no idea how this motel has good reviews. Trust me when I say, you get what you pay for. Dirty, old & we felt unsafe. The toilet was not clean & disgusting. The hairdryer was filthy. (How does that even happen?) When I checked under the mattress for bed bugs (there were none, thank goodness), the mattress was grossly stained. Here is the worse part....we were about to leave, the curtains were wide open and my wife was sitting on the bed. I was bent over picking up our luggage. A male worker was rolling the linen cart past our room. He made eye contact with my wife sitting on the bed. He stopped at our door and used his passkey and attempted to OPEN our the door to our room. My wife started yelling "No, no, no". Thankfully were had the door-stopper engaged and he could only open it a few inches. What was on his mind ??? Why would he try to enter our room when he obviously saw my wife sitting on the bed ??? I immediately opened the door to catch a glimpse of him as he was hurrying away. I took our luggage down to our car, but saw him as I came back up the stairs. I said "I know you saw my wife sitting on the bed. I don't appreciate you trying to open our room door without permission." He held up his hands and all he could say was "No, no, no." I'm pretty sure there was a language barrier. In the past I have NEVER had any problem with Wydham properties, but I will NEVER stay in a Days Inn again !! I told the lady at the front desk what happened and she apologized 3 times and told me she would have a talk with the worker. Spend the money, stay...
Read moreThey stay was a disaster from the first day. First honest mistake I was assigned a room (117) that had not yet been turned from the previous visitor. I was then relocated to a second room (113). Upon settling in the room I discovered the tv did not want to stay on. After numerous attempts I decided to call the office. To a great surprise the room phone failed to remain on, only once a small balance of pressure applied to the hangup button would the phone remain on, any variation in pressure would sever the connection. Both issues were reported to the front office and the on duty personel responded promptly.
Both members of of the crew reported without the required face protection following CDC guidelines. After their less than helpful, it was assured the issue would be corrected the following day. I was requested to pack up and change rooms after another long grueling 14 hour day at a local plant, i was too tired to move items, groceries, clothes, toiletries, sleep machine, chargers, etc. And requested they only remedy the TV so I could unwind after a day worked.
After the fifth day of continuous failed promises of remedying the faulty electronics, I lost complete interest in the stay and was too tired to continue to be disappointed by the lack of concern with their customer satisfaction.
I run a crew of 10 workers whom will be joining me if future rotations whom now will all be staying at other locations due to the experience. That is a loss of up to 10 rooms on 9 night rotations until June of 2021, over a $150 TV. This doesn't seem like the best interest for...
Read moreThe female clerk up front was friendly and talkative. She explained everything in detail when we asked questions and was up front about the policies. We were unaware that Wyndham allows their franchises to require Cash Only non-refundable deposits for pets, so she had to explain the fraud that was being committed that required this change in policy. I can understand the issue, but I believe it should be refundable somehow if the pets are well trained and the room is left as clean or cleaner than when we checked in. In the morning, there was a young man/teenager at the front desk. He basically ignored everybody while he was playing on his phone with one earbud in. I had to get his attention for each and every little issues that the breakfast room had, which usually required raising my voice and repeating myself several times. The breakfast room had an oatmeal pot and toppings for oatmeal, but no actual oatmeal was provided, the sausage gravy and eggs were cold because the warmer hadn't been turned on, an empty milk jug was in the fridge, each customer had to ask for biscuits so that the guy could get some from a back room... only bringing exactly how many you ask for and they were very cold so that we had to reheat everything. As for other options, the was yogurt, a few slices of bread for toast, and the waffle maker. Not too bad, if everything had actually been ready, warm,...
