Taco Bell — Restaurant in Cloverdale

Cloverdale, Indiana Taco Bell, 7pm ET 8/11/23

We visited the drive-thru and ordered two Quesadillas and two Nacho Cheese Chalupas.

Upon receiving our order, we noticed the Quesadillas were not properly cooked, felt cold, and weren't cut. Additionally, the Chalupas were missing cheese.

I decided to enter the store to address these issues. It took a few minutes before I was acknowledged by the staff. While waiting, I observed some employees not adhering to the best food handling practices, handling food with their bare hands, and the kitchen was filthy. Additionally, a few were engaged in non-work activities in the back room, playing video games (with a video game controller – this is the same person who handled food with his bare hands). Rap music was blaring in the kitchen. One employee was vaping in the kitchen area.

When I asked for details about the franchisee, I was given falsified information.

Given our concerns, we decided not to consume the food, and threw it all away.

I plan to address this matter further by lodging a complaint with both the Putnam County and Indiana Department of Health offices on Monday morning 8/14/23. I will provide smartphone video.

Moreover, I'll be reaching out to Yum Brands with a detailed letter, which I'll be sending via Certified Mail on 8/14/23.

Broken tacos, wrong items, bad customer service and don’t order here unless you enjoy sour cream because that’s all your getting!! Completely horrible service and food, wish I could put zero stars. Not only did the drive thru girl ring up my order wrong “supreme variety party pack, she rang up a regular supreme party pack”. When I got home and pulling the tacos out not only were they all crunchy tacos but maybe 2 of the 12 tacos actually were tacos, they had nothing but sour cream in them and a dash of everything else. So I call back to the store to ask what is in the supreme variety party pack the response was “honestly I don’t know” then I stated It wasn’t what I ordered and I was upset about the tacos she hangs up on me!!! Called back to talk to manager, which he states she didn’t hang up, talked over me the entire phone call, told me what I ordered was the party pack because that’s what he seen on his screen, didn’t think twice that she rang up the wrong thing, was not any help and made the situation so much worse. There's only ONE place to go for late night fast food in Cloverdale, Ind. and that's Taco Bell and ours is THE BEST! The staff is always friendly, no matter what time you get there 😅 The food is ALWAYS hot! Have you ever got a taco from a Taco Bell and couldn't find your meat amongst all the cheese and lettuce? Like, "Wait, did I order a salad in a tortilla?" HA! Not at this Taco Bell. There's a younger guy and an older guy on the late shift that give quite the opposite of the normal "I hate my job" attitude that is common at fast food restaurants, super friendly and send me off with good food with a "Have a blessed night!"
