I have reason to suspect this place uses fake positivive reviews. I asked for a pair of Carne asada burritos with just the meat, chopped onion and cilantro, and guacamole, for which I was charged $31. The burritos I received each came in a to-go container in which the burrito was sitting in and covered in an unpleasant thick white sauce, with a small amount of avocado, onion, and cilantro ON TOP OF rather than inside the burrito. The burrito contained meat only. I suppose the concept of burrito escapes some people, which can be forgiven, except the amount of avocado and cilantro was insufficient for the pitifully small burrito, and with the white sauce slathered on it, unrolling the burrito to stuff the guac/onion/cilantro into the burrito would be rather messy and still leaves the unpleasant sauce on the burrito exterior. Note that one of the positive reviews mentions generous portions- my burritos were half the size I was expecting at $15 each; furthermore, both the cilantro on the burritos and the extra cilantro that I asked for had substantial brown, black, and yellow coloration on the leaves- that can only mean the cilantro is around 7-10 days or more old- so the cilantro is not fresh, so what else is not fresh? I'm like anyone else- any food that isn't freshly prepared using fresh ingredients isn't anything I want and I'd rather just be told at the point of ordering that 1 or more ingredients is not fresh, so I have the choice of omitting what isn't fresh or just not ordering the food at all. The meat, flour tortilla, onion and avocado seemed reasonably ok, but the white sauce ruined the burritos- I think it was a white cheese mixed with something else. I'm dumbfounded by how many struggling restaurants such as this one clearly is, just can't grasp the concepts of give the customer what they ask for and no extras, and use only fresh ingredients, and you not only gain a growing customer base but keep costs low by not wasting money on extras the customer didn't ask for and didn't want. Had the burritos been just what I asked for and nothing else and had all of the ingredients been fresh, I'd have been back for more- though I'd ask for double-size burritos the next time. Instead, i'll not be back to this restaurant at all, the food quality and portion size just isn't enough to...

We're in from Texas and needed a fix. Of course we understand it's going to be different, ok, but the first thing I noticed is that the tortillas aren't made in house. The red sauce was ok, but meh. Green as well, which was 99 cents (note that restaurants in Texas bring both sauces to ur table free, though some u have to ask for green, but still no charge most of the time, and they let u know if there is a charge. Just more vinegar tasting than normal. The 4 enchilada plate on lunch didn't come with rice and beans, which are $4 a side, each. I didn't want red sauce on the enchiladas so subbed for queso for $1.50. The hubs got extra queso on his chimichanga, for another buck 50. A tea was $3.25. TEA!? So our basic deal was the food was just all right based on a Texas palate. The service was great. The server should absolutely let you know as you order, of additional charges. All in all, it was a Mexican fix, but pricing should be more clear and red sauce could be a lot better! js Will we go back, no, but it may be stellar if they made their own tortillas and fixed up...

We had a normal wait time. Drinks came fairly quick. Ordered. food didnt take to long. but 2 of the 3 meals came out wrong. onw was close enough not to worry about. but one was suppose to be a kids chicken finger and fries. We got a bean burrito, beans and rice. I told them I that wasnt ours. that's not what we ordered. 1st waiter looked confused but took it. second waiter brings it back and argues with me about me ordering it. Finally brings the other plate with what looked like 3.5 large fried pickles they say are chicken fingers and some fries. point is im pretty sure he only gave us half of the food we should have gotten because he claims me to be wrong about what we ordered. He also never came back to offer or ask any refills. my food was ok. Nothing specular. I would have been much happier going...

Stopped here for lunch on our way from Cincinnati to St. Louis. I love Mexican food and this seemed like a good alternative to fast food. My boyfriend and I were the only ones here when we arrived, but it was shortly after they opened on a Saturday. The service was quick and friendly. The food was what I expected from a Mexican restaurant in this part of the country - it had a good flavor but wasn't at all spicy. I got a burrito, taco, and rice, all of which were tasty. The salsa tasted extremely fresh and the tortilla chips were crispy. If I'm ever driving by on I-70 and am hungry around the Cloverdale area, I wouldn't hesitate to stop here again.

This was absolutely the worst service and mexican food I have ever had at a mexican restaurant. The waiter didn't understand anything. He couldn't put his ear to the English language. But the food was awful. We got the fajita's in which they had on our table in 2 minutes in the skillet so I know it was old stuff and tasted.like it. 4 pieces of shrimp and hardley any chicken or beef. Mostly green peppers and onion. The salsa was watered down. I reccomend another place to eat if you are in Cloverdale. Dont waste your time or money. I will have to say that this is the worst review I have ever given on a restaurant if that tells you anything.
