PLEASE BE ADVISED. STAY AWAY. HORRIBLE SERVICE. NO COMPASSION. EVIL PEOPLE. VICTOR IN RECEPTION IS RUDE. Victor at the front desk yelled at me repeatedly. When we were evacuating because of hurricane Irma we called from highway 75 to ask if they had rooms. We informed him we had an ESA animal and Victor said it was ok. Everything was fine when we checked in. The next day they told us we could not stay until Monday. He yelled at me and told me i did not have a disability. Just because it is not visible it does not mean it is not there. When i was pleading with him he threatened me by saying he knew the police in town and he was going to call them. We were forced to leave and find another hotel with more compassion. This place and the workers only made our horrible situation worse. The business is run in an absolutely disgusting manner. Showing no respect and compassion for people in a time in need. STAY AWAY.
Please stop trying to down play the situation in your many altered replies to this review. You harassed my father after we left when you saw my negative review. THE FACT THAT YOURE SORRY ABOUT WHAT HAPPENED AFTER THE FACT DOES NOT CHANGE ANYTHING. Your actions when you saw us in despair for a place to stay show us the type of person and establishment you run.
You allowed us to stay ONE night. And expected us to find a place to stay for Monday, which was when the hurricane was going to be hitting the area. All the restaurants and even the Walmart in town were closed. HOW WERE WE SUPPOSED TO FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE TO STAY IN THE MIDDLE OF THE STORM?!!
Fortunately, we found refuge at a great and kind establishment in Hawkinsville.
I hope this experience teaches your establishment and employees, specifically Victor from the front desk, that making threats to their PAYING customers specifically in a time of need is unnecessary and uncalled for.
Victor made what was an already horrific situation, where we were forced to evacuate our home because of the threat of a category four hurricane hitting our home town, an even more traumatizing experience.
Harassing someone with a disability, visible or not, is despicable. Victor repeatedly yelled at me when I was pleading with him to let us stay an extra night. He refused and said we had to check out on Monday, the day the hurricane was passing thought town.
PLEASE BEWARE OF THIS ESTABLISHMENT. SPECIALLY VICTOR FROM THE FRONT...
Read moreI understand that this is not by any means a luxury accommodation. However, at any place that I stay, I expect to find clean sheets. At the Cochran Inn & Suites, the sheets in our room had not been changed. The bed was made, but the sheets had make up stains, hairs, and other small, dark stains.||The dusty and musty odor emanated from the old and dirty carpeting. I can pretty much guarantee that the carpeting in the rooms hadn’t been vacuumed since they opened decades ago. And if it was, the vacuum was useless and ineffective.||Please stay elsewhere and avoid this...
