Update…. I was on trip to Tennessee and had to pass through the next town over to get back to SWFL. I was not getting call backs about the refund and decided to stop by. I came in around 10 am and asked for the GM. I was told that he was in and would see if he could meet with me. I went to the waiting room area and waited. About 10-15 minutes later a man came walking through and asked if he could help me. I asked for his name and he was very reluctant to tell me. I tried to explain the situation and he said that he didn’t know who I was and he didn’t have any information to give me and that they haven’t received the money yet from the warranty company. I tried to tell him that the warranty company had sent we information that they had cashed the check three weeks ago. He said he didn’t have time to argue with me. I said it’s not an argument and I just wanted to know when the refund was going to be sent out? He walk away and I looked at my past emails and he was the finance manager.
I walked out to my truck and tried calling the warranty company and I seen two different gentleman walk out and one looked familiar to me, he was the sales manager that I had dealt with when I initially came to the dealership. I went up to Home and started to talk to him. He said he remembered me and that he was there to help me. He asked me to give him a few minutes, I went back to my truck and sat on hold. He came out about 10 minutes later and showed me copy of a check signed by the finance manager that was sent out two days ago to the finance company for a refund. I also asked him where the general manager was. He said the general managers been on vacation all week and Disney with his family. I began to explain to him that they have a really bad culture of lying. It seems to me that everybody from the top down with the exception of the sales department is encouraged to lie or not give all the details. I would suggest anybody looking for a trailer to go to one of the other hundred in the area of WOW Cargo Trailers .
All I can say is that the trailer was built to my specifications and it is great.
The finance department is very sketchy and was given the wrong information in regard to the warranty and gap policy. I made my original review while sitting at the dealership because they asked me to do it and they gave me a choice of a hat visor or an umbrella. I picked the umbrella to give it to my wife and I was told “ you want an umbrella?? “ The finance lady was very condescending and didn’t have any answers. I was told that I couldn’t cancel the warranty or gap because the deal was done. Not true I was able to cancel for any reason as long as I didn’t have a claim within the first 30 days. I canceled with in 24 hours. The finance manager told me that they would send in the paperwork within the first 30 day. I had all paperwork filled out and sent in within 48 hours. Well they waited until day 29-30 to cancel it. Now I have to wait for the money to be refunded to them and then they will send it to the finance company. They also told me that my 795 credit score was top tear and they still gave me a 14.49 interest rate. I had always intended to refinance or pay it off when I got home. They don’t respond to emails and calls. All the managers are always in meeting and don’t have time to call me back. I would have bought in Florida and paid a little more and not drove 1000 plus miles to get this trailer. I will say again that my salesman was great and he always called or has texted me back. It is sad that people conduct business like this and expect people to just lay down and take it. Sorry that’s not...
Read moreCame down from kansas city to pick up 2 trailers 1 used and 1 brand new. Was in contact with them for 2 weeks due to 15 hr drive 1 way and needed to schedule it around work. No issues there and was in contact the whole time.
I asked them about the used trailer tires due to the drive. They sent me pics of the tires and stated 1 tire was in bad shape. I asked if they could switch it out and asked about the spare at that time. No issues and they could install it, Awesome no issues.
I informed them when i was 3 hrs away of my eta, again no issues until i showed up.
I saw my trailers on the side of the building when i pulled in and back up to them and started looking at the used one. 3 out of 4 of the tires where definitely needing replaced- 2 tires low on tread and 1 had damage to the side of it- i knew about 1 of them.
Finally after about 30 min i got the person that originally helped me and was talking with them about the tires. They got another guy and he stated being used they cant do anything. After going back and forth i just told them to take the spare off of the other trailer and install it on there.
On paper work signing and waiting another hr they pop in these fees which i should have expected but when spending 20k on trailers to find out oh there's more is extremely frustrating. I even bought an extended warranty with the new trailer. so even more.
Also i am glad i took cash down cause about 2 days before i came down I asked for a total price and that's when they mentioned they cant do cards over a certain limit. Which again i understand but that's stuff you need to tell people.
While doing the paper work and getting to see all the fees i kept thinking about the spare tire issue and the fact that i have a 25 hr drive as i headed to tamp fl and then back to kc without a spare tire is a little nerve racking. The 2nd person to get involved came back and again stated that i would have to buy a spare at 225 which isn't much but when not being told that the tires where that bad being a trailer place was frustrating. He stated i can get the manager but he is gonna tell you the same thing. I asked for him and after about 5 min he threw in the spare.
So after 3 hrs of back and forth of paper work and paper work department not knowing i was picking 2 trailers up i finally hook up and get ready to leave to find out that the spare on the brand new trailer was left loose and they broke 1 of the studs. Spoke with the manager again which quickly just said we have the exact same trailer we will just give you that 1 instead- That works but another 45 min to wait for paper work and the forklift to put it on.
They also forgot to mention the used trailer doesn't have the key to the toolbox which again not a big deal.
It all boils down to they forget to mention the items that become extremely frustrating and the paper work takes absolutely forever.
I have bought 3 other trailers from another company and it was simple and straight forward to deal with.
Love the trailers but the company itself need to work on letting customers know what they are getting into and what the used trailers actually need or what they...
Read moreI only gave them a 5 star review because they ask you for the review before you really get a chance to look over the trailer. They basically buy the 5 star review from you by offering you a free hat or shirt or umbrella as soon as you walk in the door. I had a pretty good experience with the salesman for the few months we worked together to get the trailer how I wanted it so I gave them a good review. Now when I got there the guy I had dealt with for months couldn't give me 5 minutes of his time. Was instantly passed off to someone else. They pulled my trailer around from the back and at first glance it was amazing. But the very first thing I touched broke right off in my hand. The rear door lock as soon as we stuck the key in fell apart lol. Then I opened the concession window and the weather stripping fell off. As I walked around the other side of the trailer I looked up a at the vent hood and noticed that the electrical was not hooked up safely. I said something and they started fixing the issues. Before I could look any further they pulled me away from the trailer to do the paperwork process. After all this I was ready to get homewhich was a 7 hour drive. When I got home that night the front door lock fell off when I tried to unlock it lol. They told me that they have never had that issue ever yet 2 of mine broke same day. Let's talk about the horrible craftsman ship on the inside. No caulking on sharp metal corners. All the screw that hold everything together are stripped or not all the way in and have metal shavings ha ging out of them and I actually have a slice on the back of my leg from it. To be honest at this point I can go on for days about issues I'm having to fix myself now. Let's jump forward to where I'm at now with them. I've had the trailer for 3 weeks. I started calling them next day after we bought it about the issues. My salesman tells me he doesn't deal with that, that he's just a salesman and I need to contact Miranda. He gives me her contact. I call Miranda over the course of the next week trying to get In touch with her and I am told she is in a meeting and will call me back atleast 3 different times. She never called back. On the second week I was finally able to reach Miranda and tell her the issues I'm having. She tells me she is going to talk to her management team and get back to me about what they can do. It's been three weeks now and she has not gotten back with me. On top of that they will no longer answer my phone calls or emails. This trailer cost me over 30,000 and has a warranty and this is how they treat there customers. Don't be fooled by there many different names on Facebook that they use to advertise. They are WOW cargo trailers. But have Facebook pages named Kayla's trailers and a few other ones but in the background you cam see that they are all at the same building. They operate under an LLC named woody butts LLC. Stay away from these people they are garbage. And by the way. I do not like giving a bad review. I have given them every chance to make...
