I love this spot!, Reasonably priced in the heart of the historic downtown. Close to shopping, restaurants, museums, parks you name it ! Service dogs are welcome. But no pets, The staff are friendly and professional. The maids are exceptional. The beds are very comfortable. There's free HBO and Wi-Fi, Continental breakfast included , coffee, orange juice or apple juice and muffins. I recommend this location. I'll be back and I've stayed here many times.... A Special, thank you to Dudley at the front desk, and Angel and Dwayne, Fausta !!! ..... I'll be back

Good location. Pool is small but I never saw any one else using it so it worked. Room was great for the price with coffee maker, good size fridge and microwave. Good wifi and good TV channels with no issues. Breakfast was coffee, mini muffins individually packaged, and granola bars but it was ready and available each day. Water pressure was not great but it worked. Overall great for a value place with a pool.

Don’t stay here !! Went to take a shower and the water came out brown. The place is sketchy. And for some reason I took my own comforter and thank god I did !!! I didn’t noticed this until we were checking out but their comforter was covered in blood and dirt. Beyond disgusting !! If I could give zero stars I would !!! Reading all these others reviews I wonder how this place is still open.

DO NOT STAY HERE DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS WHAT I AM ABOUT TO SAY HAPPENED TONIGHT 9-18-2019. I have never left a review like this or been treated like this in my entire life. My heart aches so much right now. Please read this until the end. I am the mother of 6, a wife and have a masters degree in business administration. Unfortunately I also have cancer. I am having surgery tomorrow and spoke to someone at the hotel before I booked my room. I live close to this hotel in our home with my family and the hospital I am having surgery at tomorrow is near by. I knew the preparation for surgery tomorrow was going to be difficult and I did not want my children or any of my family to have to endure my suffering tonight. To get through the pain and time I am facing we decided it best for me to get to be alone tonight but near our home in case I needed my husband or someone to come to me. I spoke to a male employee at the hotel when I booked my room about getting a late check out. The plan was to go directly from the hotel to the hospital tomorrow but my check in at the hospital is at 2:00pm. I called to see if I could check out at 1:30pm and that is what was agreed to by the man I spoke to when I booked the room. I was told by him that if there was going to be any issues at all he was leaving a message for the manager and I would receive a phone call. Angel, the horrible women that discriminated against me when I went to check in said the man I spoke to no longer works there. I just made the reservation a couple days ago!!!!! Angel refused to allow me to speak to a manager and then said she was the manager for that shift which I am certain is entirely untrue. She accused me of cussing at her which I never ever ever cuss. My husband was standing right there because I am too sick and weak to be able to drive myself and again, surgery is tomorrow so someone dropping me off and picking me up was the idea. He too could not believe this women's horrible behavior. He is a witness to the entire thing. She refused the late check out I had been promised so then I said fine I have the key I will deal with it in the morning and she said she deactivated the key and did not complete my check in and was not honoring my reservation. By this time I was sitting on the floor because I was getting so sick and in so much pain. She yelled at me for sitting on the floor instead of the chairs across the room that they had in the area. I do not generally sit on the floor but sitting in a chair with my legs straight down is extremely painful. My entire family can tell anyone I do not sit in normal chairs right now almost ever. Even at our kitchen table. I can't. Angel then proceeded to say she was calling the police because I was sitting on the floor.........Can you believe it? I am crying by this time and my husband had to just help me up and back to our car which I had a hard time walking to. He helped me get all the way back home where I am sitting in agony as I type this. Please, as a mom, a wife and a cancer patient I beg you DO NOT GIVE BUSINESS TO A HOTEL THAT IS WILLING TO HIRE AND OPERATE AND ACCEPT TOTAL DISCRIMINATION AGAINST ANY ONE WHO IS DISABLED OR HAS CANCER!!! I still just cry at the thought of the horrible person I had to encounter tonight. We will be filing formal complaints everywhere that we can once I get through the next incredibly tough days my family has ahead of us. Since we live so close to the hotel I was so hoping it was going to be nice so we had a good recommendation when friends and family come and visit us. I have a second surgery already scheduled for the 4th of October. On incredibly tough nights it would been so nice to have a place to stay that is so close to my family but not with them so I could save them some of the suffering. Especially my girls. There are things they do not need to see and hear. Again I beg anyone reading this to please bring your business elsewhere. This hotel...

The Man at the front desk Mr Lee was the most off the wall person i ever met.||My 2 adult sons and were passing through Manitou Springs a week ago. August 1 st to be exact. WE stopped at a few hotels to ask for 2 room"s or 3 beds but most were sold out . Then we got to the Manitou Springs Econo lodge. I walked into the lobby and asked Mr,Lee for 2 rooms or 3 beds, this created mass confusion . Mr Lee could not understand the request. so i explained to him that there were 3 adult men looking for 1 bed each did he have 1 room with 3 beds or 2 rooms? ||Me Lee said ,I only have a King smoking room left. Because we were concerned about finding room's i told him we would take it . Mr Lee asked me if i smoked i replier no but one of my sone does so i will give the room to him and go next door for another room .||Mr Lee got mad and said I DON'T WANT THREE MEN IN THAT ROOM. AND BESIDES YOUR NOT A SMOKER.so i explained again that my son was a smoker and he could have the room by himself and my other son and i would find another room at another hotel near by.||Once again Mr Lee got upset and said NO I DON'T WANT 3 MEN IN THAT ROOM!||I reassured Mr Lee that we were not going to have 3 men in the room and we would find another room elsewhere . ||Mr Lee became angry and said YOUR NOT A SMOKER YOUR NOT GETTING THE ROOM.I asked to see the manager and Mr Lee said YOU ARE TOO AGRESSIVE I WANT YOU TO LEAVE , YOUR NOT GETTING THE ROOM!|| So i asked for the manager once again and Mr Lee told me he was the owner and handed me a business card the said he was the manager. so i pointed out that his business card said Manager not owner and Mr Lee said SOME TIMES IM THE OWNER AND SOMETIMES IM THE MANAGER! ||so now im sure this guy is stoned . We are in Colorado and the dispensary is right next door . So i asked sir How high are you right now and it all went down...

I stayed at this hotel the night of April 18th. We booked this room because my partner had to go in for a complex heart procedure the next morning, and the water in my condo complex was not working. He needed a place to shower before going to the hospital, so even though we live in town, we had to find a hotel at the last minute. We asked for a ground floor room because of his health. The wonderful woman on the front desk called me in the early afternoon to tell me a ground floor room was not going to be availble due to a burst pipe. She said we could have a second floor room, but it was a smoking room, so would not smell great. She had gone to the trouble to find us a room elsewhere in Colorado Springs, which I think was above and beyond what I could have hoped for! There were hardly any rooms left in the whole town due to some NASA event being held in town. But she, by golly, called around until she found us one. Since the hotel she found for us was not in an area I did not want to stay in, we opted for the second floor room, and she had it aired out for us. I can tell you that, in all my years of traveling, I have never felt better cared for. I cannot remember her name, but this woman is a real gem! She really cared about our situation. She took a personal interest in making sure we had the best situation possible, given our medical reasons for being there. If I had a business (which I don't because I am retired), I would steal this woman away from this hotel and hire her! The woman that checked us out on April 19th was also delightful. She was friendly and kind. Our room was clean and had everything in it that we needed.

This is an older property, so it is a bit frayed around the edges. I do not mind this, but I wanted to include this comment in the review, so people would not...
