Supernova Bar and Arcade — Restaurant in Colorado Springs

Went yesterday and place was really nice and packed being that its almost Halloween everyone was in their customes. Atmosphere was really awesome. I was treated very well by the bartenders so nothing wrong there, my complaint is the way I was treated before they closed at 2am. After paying my tab I got up to play a arcade game at about 1:40am, there is this guy announcing very loudly they are closing right next to the exit, I get it. I just wanted to play one game and leave. At about a 1:45am this guy gets close to me and starts telling me that I need to go, basically harassed me constantly telling me, "you have to go we are closing", he didn't had any tact and was very adamant in me leaving right that moment, I am in the middle of the game and he's talking very close to me too, I moved away a bit since he was getting too close...I felt like I was being thrown away from the place! Management should address this, I understand employees need to tell people to leave but DO NOT BE DOUCHE WHILE...

I honestly expected the environment to be amazing. However, I had a very unpleasant experience with a rude and crass bouncer. He was bald, tattooed, and extremely disrespectful.

To be clear, I completely understand the importance of checking ID — that's a reasonable policy. But there's no excuse for being rude or making someone feel unwelcome. Because of how I was treated, I won’t be returning to this establishment.

Other venues in Old Colorado City have been much more welcoming and professional. Unfortunately, the way this bouncer spoke to me made me feel uncomfortable and disrespected. I'm already 22, and I can’t imagine how someone younger would feel being treated so poorly.

When searching for a bar its always about the staff and less about the drinks. I mean how hard is it to give a stiff pour? Well for supernova they killed it for myself and my party of 5 on a recent visit downtown c-springs. The staff is amazing, some of the most engaging bar staff in the Springs. As for the drinks, they had stiff pours and did what we all want when going to a bar.....made us feel special, were attentive to our needs and always made great drinks. Danny was super cool, and very engaging with our party! Now on to the video games, the real reason we went here. They had a great selection of old school video machines from the late 70’s, 80’s ad 90’s It kinda like going to the boardwalk as an adult.
