Very sad to change my previous review, due to my most recent visit on 1/16/18 but will keep the old one below for reference of what a 5 star experience was like here. But, this time it was 100% opposite, we went in at around 1030-11ish and waited by the door for around 5 minutes before the bartender greeted us and told us to take a seat anywhere, we let her know the sign sitting by the door stated "please wait to be seated". She was very sweet, but unfortunately overwhelemed by what seemed as picking up the slack from the only other team member who should have been waitressing. This woman was not in anytype of uniform, and had a very blatant black eye (on a professional level some makeup would have been appropriate). We sat at the bar as we waited to get our mimosas rolling, we watched this woman shove a whole meal down, she dug the food out of her teeth with her fingers, then continued to serve food to tables as she was before, never washing her hands. We sat in agony as we watched her come to the bar and fill herself a soda then made it back to the kitchen window where her food was sitting for another handfull of whatever she could shove in her mouth, mind you we still awaited our opportunity to order, and now 2 more groups had come in and were awaiting a greeting and menus. She not only served the food with her bacteria-mouthed-hands but sat and rolled all of the napkins and silverware. I COULDNT HANDLE IT ANYMORE, our one mimosa ended rapidly, the poor bartender running her rear off to make everyone waiting happy unfortunately had to deal with the brunt of my feelings and that we were leaving. Prior to watching this woman destroy my every thought on this restaurant, we were going to both enjoy a meal and a few more drinks, as we were there to celebrate my sisters first outting being 21! I apologized to her many times as i was embarrassed that I reccomended this place so much, it was my "you have to check this place out", just so so sad to see such behavior at all, but especially by someone who appeared to be of management. While I am on my complaint rant, I found it disappointing the menus were paper and rather gross, so why wasnt ours thrown out, but then how wasteful is that!? Hopefully from this once long positive review to an even longer now negative review, this will help to enforce the same rules for ALL EMPLOYEES manager or not, and that another guest never walks in and sees what we did. Review from visit on 11/2/17: Odessey downtown Colorado Springs was great and I will return! What stole my heart away was the brussel sprouts were, wow to say the least! The environment is great, atmosphere comfortable, tight nit but modern, beautiful bar display and 2 tvs to keep the casuals entertained. The customer service was great 100% our lovely waiter Alex made plenty of positive suggestions and had lots of knowledge about the history as I asked many questions as any first timer would. But, really the sprouts were beyond AMAZING,  each bite completely heavenly, the basalmic sauce,  the crisp little roasted edges that had fallen off onto the plate and the fresh, I mean fresh parmesan flakes. 5 stars alone for the brussle sprouts. A little pricer for an app but the portion size will suprise and delight. $8.99 for the best vegrtarian appetizer in Colorado Springs. The mac n cheese what a wonderous combination of ingredients i had to get this one, cavatappi noodles to hold the sauce just right, tiny diced fresh tomatoes, mushroom chunks the perfect size, and argula, could have been cut to a smaller size to better satisfy. The portion size was good, too shallow  and large of a bowl, the heat did not last long at all. I am not sure about, the cheddar base got cold rather quickly and became slightly granulated. For a texture seeker this is not ideal, smooth cheese will please and keep the heat longer. I would say with a litte less noodles and an included salad, roll or side that would make it worth a $10.99 entree. A wise decision to come here for a satisfactory late night grub. Will return.

4.5 stars. And a shout-out to Jordan, our server, who was one of the best servers I've had the chance of meeting! When we called ahead, they said they only take walk-ins. We went, put our name on the list and were told it'll take 20 mins or so. Exactly 20 mins later, I got a call saying our table was ready. The decor is a chic bar/restaurant like. The tables have maps of different states imprinted in the food which is super cool! We ordered the restaurant week meal and a side of fried pickles and half portion of the mac and cheese to go with it. For drinks we got a rum based cocktail, the raspberry blonde local beer and a ginger beer. The food was good but huge portions. From the restaurant week menu, we got the crispy brussels, bulgogi bowl and the bacon brownie. The brussels were a little salty or bland at times. The bulgogi bowl was delicious! Go slow with the hot sauce they give though. I poured the whole thing and it was just the right kind of spicy fore, but not for my friend, lol!! The bowl is strips of marinated steak with carrots, peppers, greens, beans, almonds and it's just so yummy!! The bacon brownie is topped with vanilla ice cream and is really a shared portion. There are bacon crystals in the brownie itself, so it was different flavor and you either like or you don't. We liked it. The fried pickles were ok. I've had some better ones elsewhere. The mac and cheese half portion was also huge! It was cheesy and tasty, but definitely not something we could've finished in one sitting. The chicken added on top was not as plain or dry as I expected but I'd have still liked some more condiments in there. We all liked our drinks and I am grateful to Jordan for making a good Moscow mule when I requested it. All in all great place, great service and we shall be back for a weekend brunch soon!

I was in town on business and my colleagues and I decided to check out Odyssey Gastropub in Downtown Colorado Springs for dinner, as recommended by one of our local business partners. It was easy to find the location but we did walk a couple blocks from where we parked. There are metered parking around the downtown area so make sure to snag the first open space you see. Upon entering Odyssey, we were greeted by a young lady who sat us down across from the bar. The interior was cozy with a welcoming atmosphere. The decor had upside-down lamps, which I had never seen before. When it came down to order, my coworker and I decided to share an order of Last Wing Standing and Crispy Brussels as they were out of the Korean Pork Belly Bites that night. The crispy Brussel sprouts were delicious. For the chicken wings, we divided it with 2 flavors: Pineapple Teriyaki and Parm Garlic. The garlic parmesan wings were okay - A little tough. We did, however, enjoy the pineapple teriyaki wings and wished we ordered a full plate of that. The server checked in on us and was great. The only thing she didn’t hear was that we wanted to pay on a single check; instead, she split the check between each person. No worried for us but I’m guessing that was just extra work on her part as we did ask to pay on one check. Overall, the food was great and the service was pleasant. I would come back and order the Brussel sprouts again with a side of their pineapple teriyaki wings. Yum!
