This was my second stay at this hotel; it is close to the Springs Airport and I have had early flights. BUT on the second visit...upon pulling down my comforter to crawl into bed, it was obvious that the sheets had been slept in. I checked the other Queen bed; same thing PLEASE SEE PICS. The beds had been made and the room otherwise ready, but the wrinkled sheets skeeved me out enough to not want another room at this hotel. Neither did I want to argue for a refund in front of a line full of people, and I wanted to post this review with a clean conscience. So I just booked with the Hilton Garden Inn next door and handed the front desk attendant my room key on the way out. She was busy and looked confused, but did not ask any questions. Interestingly, I have not received a follow-up invitation from Choice to review my hotel stay, so I'm posting here. Beware!

The room was missing a light bulb in the lamp, so the room was kind of dark on one side. They didn't tell us how to switch to the cable. They didn't tell us about breakfast or a check out time. They said the pool was heated and the hot tub worked. Negative about both. Also, there is an ant infestation in the pool room. Especially around the edge of the hot tub.

The beds were soft and the sheets will silky. HOWEVER room smell like mold \ mildew especially when the AC unit turned on. You can open the window. If you asked to change rooms, you have to change rooms after 3p. My colleague stated in a different room on the ground floor, with a white A\C & didn't have the issue.

Stolen Vehicle from Parking lot!!!! Please do your research before booking a room in this hotel/area. Our vehicle was stolen from their parking lot in the middle of the night. The management staff was hard to work with through out the process of filling a police report and dealing with the shock of having a vehicle stolen. We checked in to the hotel 7/12/24 for a two night stay. The check in process was smooth and painless. I had shipped a package to the hotel in advance and it was ready for us when we arrived. The hotel is 15-20 from most touristy places in town and there is not a lot of business/restaurants near by but it was the best we could find at the moment we booked. The hotels is next to an RV campground and a trailer park. There is a 7-eleven gas station next to the hotel as well. After returning to the hotel from supper, all the parking spaces in the front of the building were taken and we did not want to park our vehicle next to the gas station (7-eleven) and decided to use their back parking lot. It worked out well because we were able to park the car across from our room in the 1st floor and see it from the window. The room was decent, carpet was stained and needs some updates but overall it was ok for a couple nights. The AC unit on the window was loud and the fan ran non stop. At 5:30am on 7/13 we were awaken by our toddler to get his day started. I looked out to window and found that our car was gone. My husband ran to the front desk to inquire about it as we thought maybe it was towed but the receptionist was not helpful and told him that they are not responsible for whatever happens to the vehicles. After asking if she could check the cameras, the receptionist refused to do so. She said she was “too overwhelmed” to do it and that he could come back at 7am when the next receptionist comes in. We called the police department and were able to confirm that our car was not towed and not on the impound record. At that point a case was opened for a stolen vehicle. At 7am my husband tried to talk to the new receptionist/manager (white hair individual) and she told him she did not have time to sit and watch the surveillance camera and told my husband that he could do it if he wanted to. The cameras that she showed him were not facing the side of the building and did not showed our vehicle. We later checked and there is another camera that would show the vehicle but she did not show him that footage. My husband decided to just let the police handle it at that moment. We understand that the hotel is not responsible for the vehicle loss but their lack of touch and help was so inhumane. She even asked my husband if he was going to cancel the reservation for night two so she could sell the room. We live 6 hours away from Colorado and we were not able to secure a rental to get back home and family had to come to pick us up. I personally spoke with the receptionist/manager after we had a plan on how to get home and asked her to at least not charge us for night two. She was willing to do so until I asked for a late check out on our room since we have a toddler and did not want to be out in the street without a room to change him. Our family was scheduled to arrive at the hotel by 2pm. She said that we had to be out of the room by 11 or she would still charge us for the second night. We stayed in the room because of necessity and our family arrived at 1:30pm and we left the hotel. I personally handed the keys to the receptionist/manager and she did not make eye contact or said anything to me. 24hrs later after we left the hotel our vehicle was located and was involved in a car accident 1 mile away...

This is a very new motel and some parts are being worked on, which was not a problem.

When we first checked in, the front desk clerk told us our room was on the second floor. When I asked where the elevator was she said there was none. I have a bad back leaving my wife to carry the heavy bags, so I asked for a 1st floor room but none were available. We had to ask how to get to the room, she never offered directions. When we got to our room one of the first things I noticed was the low counter in the bathroom. (Most new motels we’ve stayed in have the higher counters, which are much friendlier for old folks with bad backs). Most motels also have a higher soap dish in the bath tub for those who shower – not here either. The hot water seemed to be scalding hot! The microwave was on the low end of the credenza, where you would normally set your suitcase. It should have been placed in the opening created for it but we noticed the cord would not reach the outlet.

The TV did not work. When I told, the desk clerk this she said she would reset it. This did not work. She said she would have the tech look at it in the morning (it was 4:30pm). I told her we planned on watching it tonight. She said she could look at changing rooms but wouldn’t know until all the rooms were made up. I went back and jiggled wires and checked the TV settings and got it to work.

We left our door access cards in the room. There was another desk clerk at the counter when I for another card. I told him my last name and room number, and he quickly made me a new card. He was very accommodating but it’s a little concerning that he did not ask for ID.

The breakfast room attendant was frantically trying to keep up but never able to replenish food items fast enough. I big part of the problem was that she had to travel through the lobby, past the front desk to get to the food supply room. Most motels have that room adjacent to the breakfast room.

Our room was on the second floor near the end of the second building. There was a door on the end of the building on the first floor that was never locked. There were also restrooms at the end of the hall. They were labeled “for resident use only, must get key from the Front Desk”. Unfortunately, the Front Desk is in the middle of the first building, some distance from the restrooms. I imagine they stay very clean.

FYI - I rarely find fault in Choice properties and have never written this lengthy or...

My name is Nacorian and I stayed at the Quality Inn Airport Hotel in Colorado Springs, CO. I was down in Denver CO with friends and family for a birthday for 3 days which was the 13th/16th of July. We had car difficulties on the way home and stopped in Colorado Springs, CO until the car situation got taken care of. I got to Quality Inn Airport Hotel around 7pm on Saturday July 16th. The next day, there was an older lady named Misty that’s works at the front desk I went to the front desk on Sunday July 17th around 5pm to get snacks with one of my friends named Javier. As we approached the front desk the lady asked my friend very rudely if he knew what a belt was and his answer was no. I stayed to myself and let it go and then she asked for my card to pay for the 2 Arizona Teas, Rice Crispy treat, and a cup of noodles. I then gave her my card and she told me the amount I owed was 9 dollars which wasn’t adding up to me because it said the 2 teas were 2 dollars each and the rice crispy was 1 dollar and the cup of noodles was 1 dollar as well but I didn’t care I continued to give her my card. And she asked what type of card I had I am young and don’t know much so I replied I’m not sure then she told me I odviously didn’t know what I was doing and that the type of card was written on the back of the card so I replied sorry it’s a visa I’m new to this. Then I asked the older lady for her name which she answered very rudely and said her name was Misty. Then she told me my card was declined and said not to worry about it that it didn’t go through but she said she would let it slide. I didn’t know what was going on because I didn’t have my phone on me when I went to get the snacks. When I get back to the hotel room and grab my phone I look at my card transactions and she tried to charge me $121.24 for the 9 dollars worth of snacks because I asked her name. Then the next day on Monday July 18th at 3:01am she tried to charge me $121.24 again. Then the next day which was Thursday July 19th at 2:32am she tried to charge me $60.62. I don’t get why and how this lady is allowed to charge my card whenever she wants just because I asked her name because she was being rude. This is ridiculous and illegal. My rating for this hotel...
