my fiance and i decided to book this hotel as we were in town for a family funeral. upon arrival, the front desk woman was immediately giving an attitude with the facial expressions as well as her tone. after getting everything done, we went to head to our room with our cat. keep in mind upon booking all we saw was “pet friendly” and did not read any further because we had to come last minute for an emergency and just needed a place to stay and we had no pet sitter but our cat is very well behaved and we did not know cats were not accepted. we have left her in a hotel room before because again she is well behaved and wouldn’t do anything or disturb anyone. we left her in the room for a couple hours with everything she needs as well as a do not disturb sign on the door because again we’ve done this before and she is not loud or disturbing to anyone else. we came back and could not find her because she had squeezed herself between the night stand and the bed. this was weird because she is extremely friendly and not the type to hide and does not get scared easy. we then noticed a note had been slid under the door (was not there when we got back at 11:47 pm so they waited and watched for us to get back) saying that cats are not allowed and we need to leave in the morning- that’s on me i should have read the website but when you’re in town for a funeral your brain doesn’t think of every little thing. i showed my fiance and as we looked around the room while getting ready to sleep we noticed a sticker for a laptop by the couch and an advil pill on the floor. we did not bring a laptop or any advil and this was not here when we first settled in. our cat was scared to death until we left that hotel. this is absolutely not ok, god knows what would’ve happened if she would be the type to eat things like that on the ground. someone was in our room (comfortable obviously) using a computer and left pills around the room and i absolutely know did something to scare my cat because of how she was acting which (again my fault for not reading into it but messing with my cat is BEYOND unacceptable even with a misunderstanding) is NOT ok and a refund will never be enough for what happened and what could’ve happened to my baby. the fact that i’m reading all these reviews with complaints about the same woman and yall continue to let her have her job tells me enough. i’m thankful nothing happened to our cat, very angry and disappointed with the service and treatment and i will be giving them a week to give me a full refund as promised at the front desk even though that will never be enough of an apology for what happened.

Kind of a complex review, but I will break it down. Potentially unknowingly misled. I'd normally say lied to as I had literally just called prior to checking in to ask if the hot tub was 100% working... bubbles/jets and heat, and was told YES. So, we drove all the way over for this reason only and checked in... went to my room, changed, went to hot tub and...... you guessed it.. NO JETS! 😖☹️. What was even stranger was the sign (see attached) saying jets were down was laminated..indicating it's either an ongoing problem or they were anticipating it being a while before the repairs were made? When I confronted the front desk, there was another lady there they apparently knew about it, but the lady who checked us in apparently did not. I do believe she genuinely didn't know but that still leaves us in a hotel that didn't have the one amenity that we booked our room there for, AND called in advance to double-check that it 100% worked! 😑 Now for the good news... this hotel appeared to be in pretty nice condition. (which we do appreciate). There were many recent updates, and the rooms and grounds seemed relatively clean and nice. The pool was also a nice size and the area clean and well maintained. The breakfast buffet was also pretty good. Good scrambled eggs and French toast.. the coffee was good, nice views, and good service. The staff was friendly. No refund or credit was offered for the hot tub debacle (which is a little disappointing), but the rest of the stay was good.

I want to be fair but this is not what I expected of one a raddison, two location and three the price was ridiculous for what you get. It is extremely deceiving when you walk in and once you start going to your room it shows you how old and stuffy this hotel is. I am extremely disappointed with my stay here. The rooms have dim lighting so you don't see the grit and grime. I felt disgusting after taking a shower and wanted to immediately get in another shower. The bathroom was not thoroughly cleaned still had toothpaste spital on the counter and mirror, there was hair in the shower the toilet takes forever to flush and looks like it's going to overflow no matter what. It honestly feels like a motel more than anything. I stayed out of the room more than I was in it because it was not a good experience and I came here to get away for a small staycation waste of time and money. Front desk was not the best experience, no one was really around for any hospitality they are very very short staffed and can tell by how frantic and scarce the staff was. If you can afford somewhere else please do. I had family at other hotels and they were maybe 20 dollars more per night and it is worth going to the other hotels. I just did not expect the difference to be so vast.

My family and I had the pleasure of staying at this Radisson for a recent sojourn to the scenic Colorado Springs (about a week and a half ago). It was a bit of a last-minute decision on our part to stay here and we were barely able to manage to get a room, but we had a hunch that this was going to be a great hotel for us seeing the many great reviews and the pictures of the clean, spacious rooms. And it turns out that our hunch proved more than right-- in my opinion we were accommodated with service above and beyond anything we had first expected and possibly even had previously experienced at hotels we stayed in!!

Of course they provided all the standard service one could expect at a good hotel such as checking in on us regarding our room on our first day and being very accommodating of our needs for room supplies (toiletries, towels, etc.). But there was one particular situation that occurred on our last day there that allows me to say the aforementioned statement on their service with conviction. So on the last day my Dad managed to misplace our all-important rental car key. After we could not find it after thoroughly checking our belongings and the hotel room, my Mom had the foreboding suspicion that it might have been thrown in the hotel's trash outside trash can (right before entering the front lobby). She suspected it may have been thrown out with some stuff my Dad threw out the night before. As we could not unfortunately deny this, my Dad ended up having to go to look at that trash can-- only to notice it was empty that next day. My Dad then spoke to the hotel's front desk staff about the issue and then learned that trash can's contents had been thrown into the dumpster located in a corner of the property that morning. While my Dad was determined to go through the dumpster with the gloves provided him by the staff, of all things one of the staff put on the same gloves and resolved to go through looking at the dumpster with him!! Whether it was in the name of service or to assuage the despair my Dad felt at that time, it stood out to me as quite exceptional service when my Dad told me about it later. The staff had no obligation to help him fish through the trash to find some keys that may or may not have been there. Thankfully, he ended up finding the keys in a most surprising location-- and not the trash!

As far as the location of the hotel, it is very ideal if you need to stay nearby the airport as it is literally minutes away! Colorado Springs' most well-known landmarks and tourist attractions are also not too far of a commute from the hotel. On the flipside of this, though, eateries are far and few in between near the hotel (outside of The Airplane Restaurant, which is greatly recommended!) and you will likely need to travel 10-20 min to get a good bite to eat. The continental "grab-and-go" breakfast they offer was OK, with nothing too special offered. They also offer paid appetizers in the late afternoon and evening but we did not get the time to try those unfortunately.

The room we had was indeed quite spacious and very clean with no noticeable abnormalities as the pictures had suggested! The indoor pool and jacuzzi were also very nice amenities to use as well.

Overall, I would definitely recommend for anyone going to Colorado Springs any time soon for any purpose-- if anything, for the amazing service! Sorry for a long-winded review (thanks for reading!), but I had to share our anecdote of why I believe this place deserves a A++ in the service department! I will definitely consider staying here again if I go back...

worst experience that I've ever had with any hotel ever. When I originally called and made a reservation I explain that I was looking to have a birthday party for my daughter and that I wanted to be able to use their pool I explained everything they told me it would be okay so I made the reservation. I came in the day before my reservation to check out the room to see how I would decorate it again I explained to them I would be having a 9 year old birthday party and some kids were coming not all of them would stay the night but I'm willing to pay for whatever extra rooms I need to I was assured everything would be okay, what a lie. We checked in at 4:30 and was kicked out of the hotel by 11. The manager spent her whole time stalking us and complaining it was so annoying I explain to her I was willing to pay for however many rooms I needed to so that we could be in compliance they assured me everything was going to be okay. At least once an hour she has something to complain about and she was rude to every person that came to my daughter's birthday party at one particular point during the night she was complaining about how many people I had at the pool so I just made all of us go into the room because I had activities for the girls to do anyway like nails and face masks and stuff like that she actually went around the building and looked into the rooms and came to my door and told me she knew I had more than 5 girls in there I had seven girls in there but again I told her if I needed to I would pay for another room I wasn't trying to get over I was upfront about everything from the very beginning so she comes to my room and says that we're being so loud mind you there's a party going on down the hall where everybody is drinking and smoking but I have little girls they weren't jumping on the bed or anything they were literally on the ground putting on fake nails and watching the Disney Channel anyway after she told me she was casually walking by and saw on the window which was a total lie I actually took pictures she had her hand prints on the window and was looking in the window. who does that especially when little girls are changing from swimsuits to pajamas there's got to be some kind of law against that. So she tells me that we need to leave and that she'll refund me my money and she has no care in the world that I have little girls with me and I have to get a hold of their families in the middle of the night. At this point she called the police on me because I'm live it I did everything I thought I was supposed to do when I made the reservation I explain the situation when I came in the day before I explain the situation we all were acting like we were all on the same page all exactly what I did not want to happen happen anyway this woman went out of her way to ruin a 9 year old girls little birthday party I'm definitely calling corporate on her she is super obnoxious she literally try to blame everything on the kids it was hilarious she said there were too many of us in the pool. So she went into the pool area and made a big announcement even though she knew that announcement was meant in my direction and said that if nobody was with the hotel they had to get out the pool like a different people who weren't even registered at the pool got out. The manger was peeping in the windows while my kids were changing clothes for bed. This websitr wil not let me finish my review smh I expect nothing better...

Absolutely the worst hotel experience I've ever had and I've been to a bunch. Booked a King suite because it said that it was pet friendly. Got there and the front desk told us that they would have to rebook us because that room was indeed NOT pet friendly. I agreed but then they tried to convince us that it was an upgrade and here's where it gets bad. I'm okay with changing rooms, we've done it before, especially if we haven't gotten in yet, but they tried to convince us that we were getting an upgrade which it's obvious that we weren't. I would have appreciated some honesty but there wasn't much. So we went with it anyways...

I turned on the lights to the room and it was not only filthy, but it smelled really bad. So we went up to the front without even stepping more than a foot into the room to see if they could change us again because the room was bad and I don't think that room was ready for anyone. The girl at the front told us that they're all the same and that the pet rooms were booked so that was the only one left. I them asked for a refund because we couldn't stay in that room and they didn't have a room for us. The front desk manager was really sweet about it at the time and she said she was approve it so we left.

A few days go by and I'm not seeing the refund so I call chase travel since I made the booking through them and they said that it was in fact, not approved and that I would have to talk to the hotel. I called the hotel and as I was talking to one of the front desk receptionists, the NEW manager seemingly sounded like she grabbed the phone and was like "Gabbi doesn't work here anymore, I'm the new manager." She told us that even though she wasn't there, she could've accommodate us which is not true because she wasn't there that night to begin with. Not only was she extremely rude, but she made it clear that she did not like Gabbi for whatever reason, maybe Gabbi was too nice? Who knows. But the new manager is extremely rude and I was told that I needed a written refund from the hotel to get my refund through the travel agency however they're refusing the promise made by their former manager at the time of the incident. So basically, I can't get the email refund confirmation because they fired the girl who helped us and the new manager insists that she could've accommodated us when she wasn't even there to begin with.

It has been an absolute nightmare working with and even talking to some of the associates with this hotel. As you can see in the previous reviews about refunds, it takes a bit to get anything back.

If you have pets or family, I would avoid this hotel at all costs. I know the military contracts with this hotel because we are military and have been here before with a different experience in the past but this last experience trying to check in as a civilian has been rancid just like the rooms they were trying to change us to.

Also had chase travel contact them on my behalf as well and the representatives said that they got met with another guy named Ken who was as equally rude as the new manager that I had spoken to.

They've refused all of our refund attempts so far even though we didn't even set anything into the rooms because they were so filthy and even though the previous manager agreed to process the refund. I guess she was fired for that and then they reversed our refund and refused it stating that they could've accommodated us when in fact,...
