You get what you pay for. Long term stay is a bargain currently at $56 + tax a night. If this hotel wasn't in this part of town, it would cost a lot more. Unfortunately, this area of Commerce City is not nice. No fault of the hotel, but anyone considering staying here should be informed before committing to a long term stay here.
If you are a marijuana addict, homeless, mentally ill, loud, have no manners, can't control yourself or your children, then you will fit right in. You will smell mj almost every time you leave the hotel or enter the elevator. I get that it's legal but I don't care to see people smoking regularly outside the front door daily. The back view from the hotel has a great view of the homeless encampment in the vacant lot. The small gym also has a great view of the people smoking weed at the outside ashtray as well as the homeless folks rummaging through the trash. An example of the type of guest here was the lady on oxygen chain smoking cigarettes every morning out back. Pets are allowed and there was dog crap on the sidewalk all week. Many guests are loud and have children crying. We frequently heard people yelling down the hall to shut up, then heard others yelling back at them to shut up. It's a cheap hotel so just be aware of the type of people that are attracted here.
At first glance, the hotel is clean and new, but the hallways are definitely not cleaned regularly. Dirt and debris were left in plain view outside the elevator for the duration of my week's stay, even when the housekeeper (who also works the front desk) walks right by. The elevator floormat is always dirty and the elevator entrance has dirt build up. The parking lot had glass from where it appeared a car window was broken along with other trash left for days. The included coffee in the lobby had expired creamer that was like glue. The lady at the desk said she didn't have a replacement, but it was removed the next day hopefully before no one got sick. The water dispenser in the gym is broken and beeps constantly.
Desk hours are limited but there's a sign that says to call 500 from the lobby phone at any time for assistance. Simple enough, except no one answers and it goes to voicemail, but the mailbox is full and you can't leave a message. Real classy.
We spoke to the manager, Wendy, about extending our stay who said she would leave notes in the computer because she wouldn't be there the day we were originally going to check out and she gave us the price as well as saying the room would be cleaned the next day. Wendy gave us a business card and told us to have the clerk call her if there was any problem. Sounded great. But.....when trying to check in again for the extended stay, the confused woman at the desk called Wendy, who didn't answer her phone. Again, not great service. The price also went up $100. The room was also not cleaned despite Wendy saying she put it in their computer. And of course, no one was at the front desk at 9am the next day to ask what happened.
Bottom line is that this is a cheap hotel in a low income area with industrial businesses across the street and homeless camps on the other side. The guests are loud, have no manners, get high all the time, and the staff are incompetent.
Sorry, but this is...

Our stay at Woodsprings Motel was an absolute nightmare. From the very beginning, the front desk staff, especially Wendy, made the experience unnecessarily stressful and unprofessional.
Check-in Disaster When my husband went to check in, Wendy told him our reservation was canceled because we had accidentally booked the wrong date. Instead of simply rebooking, she refused to help him. When I went in, suddenly she was "nice enough" to rebook us, but only allowed check-in an hour later. When we returned, she changed our room from the 2nd floor to the 1st and then made us wait another 45 minutes because housekeeping hadn’t finished.
Unprofessional Behavior After finally paying over $600 for the week, we tried to settle in, but Wendy actually banged on our door. My husband repeatedly asked her to leave before he had to bluntly tell her he was undressed so she would go away. After that, she lurked around the hallways, constantly going in and out smoking, making the first floor smell like stale cigarettes. She would put on fake politeness in passing, but it felt insincere.
Second Week Issues We paid again (this time over $650 due to "pet fees") and were told housekeeping wouldn’t come until day 14. But on day 8, when we were out, staff entered our room without permission, took pictures of our belongings and our cat, and locked us out with the deadbolt engaged. Wendy confronted my husband with photos of our room and gave us an hour to leave. The police were called, and despite us having just paid, we were forced out and told to wait up to 10 days for a refund.
Privacy & Respect Violated We were shocked that staff would invade a guest’s room, take pictures of personal belongings, and then lie to the police while withholding paperwork. We have chronic health conditions and medications that require privacy and security. Instead, we were treated with hostility, dishonesty, and complete disregard for dignity.
Final Thoughts This motel allows staff to harass guests, invade rooms without consent, and mishandle money. Wendy in particular was unprofessional, dishonest, and hostile. No family deserves to be treated this way. Save yourself the stress, money, and humiliation—do not stay here.
And to be completely honest: Wendy looks and acts miserable because she treats people miserably. If you can’t treat guests with dignity and respect, you shouldn’t be in...
Read moreLet me start off by saying the manager Wendy is a horrible horrible rude person. We called 3 days before visiting my husband from out of state while he's working here and asked if it was OK for 2 additional people in his room he already booked and was staying in. We were told yes. After a week of us being there with my hubby we were told by Wendy at 7-8pm that we were not allowed 3 people in the room we were in. We told her we asked and that is been there for a week already and she said no and made a book another room to immediately move to. Then informed us that since we hadn't left the room we were staying in before 11, we would now need to pay for an additional night in there plus the new room we were moving to. So basically a double booking. She did this to my husband the week prior to us visiting when they put him in a handicap room on the second floor, elevators broke down 3 times that week, and made him move at 9:30pm to another room when he had to get up for work at 4am and charged him for 2 rooms that week also. Wifi never worked and the television in our room the first week would come on but never actually get any channels. By far the worst experience we've had and my husband travels more than he is home. When you ask for the number for corporate you will be told to look it up online. Wendy was an absolute nightmare and should not be working in hospitality by any means!!! Oh and not to mention the homeless camps all around the hotel and random people hanging around. They claim to have safety attendants on property after hours but we never saw anyone once the office closed. We left and went to a much friendlier and safer place where everything actually works.
Got a response from the owner about my review yet nothing was mentioned about being sorry we had to pay double for rooms on 2 different occasions because we were made to move after 11am, Not our choice, and had to move rooms and were charged for both rooms. So your apology doesnt mean crap, especially when you dont bother to make things right. Your building is unsafe as doors are always proped open with rocks so anybody can enter the hotel from any given door, especially the homeless that live...
