I've stayed at almost every hotel in Killeen, and I'd drive the extra 10 miles to stay here instead. Check in was the most simple out of any hotel I've ever stayed at. The lady who checked us in was the friendliest, nicest, and most accommodating front desk worker I've ever met, and actually if I was rating her alone I'd have given 5 stars! If you have pets, as we did, and find it hard to find a room because of the outrageous and nonrefundable pet fees this is the place to go. Most hotels have a max 2 pet limit. We have 3 tiny dogs and the fee was the most reasonable I'd ever seen. We paid less than $30 for all 3 of our dogs. No other hotel I've been to can beat that! Let's talk incidentals.....where most hotels charge a $100-$200 fee that must be charged to a major credit card in your name, not here. We were greeted with a clean room. The hotel itself is a little outdated, but we actually felt welcome so it didn't matter. The have no problem whatsoever with early check in or out as long as the room is available. We decided to stay a second night. The check in process still went smoothly, but this time the owner (I'm guessing) checked us in. He isn't very pleasant. We only had one small issue with the room, the toilet got clogged. We let the front desk know and they switched us rooms without a second thought. Conclusion....if you're looking for a cheap room, that is not full of unnecessary fees, stay here! I wouldn't stay...

The door didn’t seal all the way around (picture below) so noise and light come through the openings around the door. Someone left clothes pins on the lamp shade (thank you) we used them to close the curtain, it helped some. I do believe there is a law requiring smoke detectors (see picture below), I guess someone removed it and housekeeper noticed. The carpet has a lot of stains (pictures included) and the furniture is dated. The chair is well worn, stained and dirty, way past due to replace it. There a little sign with pricing for the towels and linens letting you know how much they charge if you take them or you can buy from the hotel; I have no idea who would want them since they are cheap linens and towels but to each there own. If you need more than 2 bath towels, one hand towel and a wash cloth then you have to go to the desk so they can write it dow, never had that happen before. The bathroom door would not close at all.||They really need to gut this place and clean it up, bring slippers or shower shoes to wear in the room.||The ladies I met on the staff...
