Subway — Restaurant in Copperas Cove

I've been coming to this location and the one on N. Main St. in Cove for a Lonnng time. All hours, mostly at nite , occasionally 'wee hours of the morning' night. Tonight is one of those. 2:05 A.M.. Looked like a lone employee as I drove around the building to park, parked, gathered my wallet and coffee, still no other personally seen. Went in. 1 gentleman in front of me having his sandwich made. Another came in behind me. We waited patiently, or at least the guy behind me SEEMED to be patient as was I. The man in front got his sandwich, paid for it and sat down to eat it. The YOUNG man, 🙄, (I don't want to say boy so YOUNG it is.), walks down to the order end of the counter as I mentally preparing to State my order, and informs, (mumbles to), the two of us, "The system, (SOMEthing🙈🤷🏻‍♂️). It'll be 25 minutes before I can take any more orders." I reacted 😶, the guy behind me asked if he could give him enuff $ to more than cover his sandwich and , "ring it up in 25 minutes?" He fumbled for words and decided on, "I'm not even sure if I that's possible. " "(SOMEthing 🙈🤷🏻‍♂️) ,my boss ??? me pay for it." (🤔°°😦huh?) I repeated the " So it's gonna be 25 minutes ......? " Yeah." The other gay was already leaving, quietly disgusted. I followed. NEVER before, at ANY time, have I had that happen at either location.🤔°°° Kinda makes me go "Hmmm?" I'm going to research this "System" thing. I'll post again when I find something...

I go to Subway all the time for veggie pizzas, however, this was my first time to visit this particular store. I asked for a veggie pizza as always. The lady making it added the bare minimum of what I asked for. Then when she asked if I wanted extra cheese, I responded with "no thank you." She passed the pizza down the line to the next person after it came out of the oven. The next person began to close the box without slicing the pizza. I asked her if she could slice it into 6 slices and as she attempted to slice, all of what little toppings there were, was pushed into the center. After cutting it into 4 slices, I asked her to just leave it like that. It was the sloppiest pizza ever! After she closed the box and moved it to the register, the lady that began the pizza told her that I had a veggie pizza with extra cheese. I couldn't believe it! Then the pizza was still raw in the middle when I tried...

Normally I try not to leave a bad review, but when I was getting my sandwich last night, whoever was making my sandwich, her name started with an M, was more focused on flirting with my brother than making my sandwich. I was trying to be patient and let them have their conversation, but it took damn near 20 minutes for her to make one foot long, I didn't have a whole lot added either, it was just a steak and cheese with spinach, bell pepper, banana pepper, olives, mustard, and mayo. I asked if the pickles were sweet or dill, and she said, "they're regular ol hamburger chips, just like these cucumbers, same bush and everything, just different steps" which didn't really answer my question at all. I also asked for two double chocolate cookies and she almost forgot them because she was flirting with my brother so much, lol. Note to self, come alone to get subway...
