Disgusting, unacceptable, horrific conditions - and I'm stuck for 6 more nights. I have been at this hotel for less than an hour, and I am already disgusted. My room was absolutely filthy—dust everywhere, female hair on the sheets, male hair shavings in the bathroom, stains on the pillowcases, used and wrinkled towels (like, actually used), and crumbs in every drawer. It was beyond unacceptable.
I called the front desk, and they sent a housekeeping staff member who argued with me, insisting, “Dis clean dis morning.” Meanwhile, I’m staring at an entire bathroom counter covered in shaved hair and a pillow that very obviously had someone else’s head on it. Despite the clear evidence, she kept insisting it was clean. The toilet paper was already half-used, the curtains had a questionable stain that looked like blood, and the sliding door had white, grimy handprints all over it.
Feeling absolutely grossed out, I decided to shower—only to find that the body wash smelled absolutely putrid. It was honestly unbearable. Then I ordered food, looking forward to some shoestring fries, only to receive steak fries instead. Not a huge deal in comparison to everything else, but at this point, it just added to the disappointment.
The hallways echo so much that every little sound carries, making it constantly feel like someone is trying to get into my room. To make things worse, the extra door security gadget I ordered doesn’t even align with any of the bolts, leaving me with no way to reinforce the door. I came here to relax, but so far, I’ve been everything but.
I should not have to place a Publix order for body wash and practically everything else just to survive my stay here. For the price I’m paying, I could have VIP meet-and-greet tickets for Carrie Underwood instead of this disaster of an experience. And the worst part? I still have six more nights here. To say I’m not looking forward to it is an understatement. I am never coming back and strongly recommend...
Read moreSo I'll lead with the good for my 10 days at this resort. Falicia the night manager did everything possible to correct some of the challenges we faced during our stay. When we had breakfast Zsanae was an absolute pleasure and made our daily dining experience great and pleasurable despite other breakfast staff that tried to do the opposite.
Challenges: Although it said there were recent updates, the rooms were in need of renovation and were not clean to the standards of any hotel better yet a 4 star hotel. There was dust a debris on floors and between beds and night stands etc. The door leading to the deceptively small very dated patio which I'd not trust to stand on nor would I sit on with the dated furniture had so much dust, dirt, spiderweb, in the tracks it was clear it hadn't been cleaned in ages. I will say that the view from the dirty door and tiny tiny patio was breathtakingly beautiful.
Breakfast was good wish a good selection, besides one cook who was rude and lied about the availability of an item 2 days in a row and both times other staff provided it to my husband and I for dietary restrictions.
Smoking policy is not enforced and Marijuana and cigarette smoke could be smelled from adjoining rooms. When you report it to the desk nothing happens because there isn't a real security staff. Also there was one night late when some person ir people decided to knock on doors and run.. again nothing done about it.
The convention center parking area isn't enforced so they park in areas designated for hotel guests and that forces the paying guests to park far away from the building when there is a function.
The location was convenient for the medcial treatment I had to have in the area. But I wouldn't stay again.
I will again say Falicia who did the best she could with what's in her control and Zsanae who was amazing at hosting meals were the highlight of our stay. They...
