DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL. Check-in clerk Shiann is very RUDE. In the past we had several housekeeping incidents during our stay here. Due to my husband/I are back /forth (Ga-FL) due to property renovation, and I work contract on some weekends (travel nurse) while my husband is working during the weekend. Michelle the manager then understood our pain of the inconvenience arriving late to our room with malfunctions on multiple occasions. So, she set our rate at a Fixed RATE. Moving forward, they have had two (2) manager since her departure and the place is going down The last manager honored our fixed rate and was ok with it. However there were issues with the pool and staff saying the cleaned the room and did not. We didn’t pitch a fit because they always accommodated us. A minute ago, same cleaning issue raised and this new manager-Leilani RUDE as heck and was like ” Oh well” I explained that her staff put ”Cleaned blue stickers” on the door but the room is not cleaned. She refused to check the room and etc. She refused to honor our rate and did not give us another room. At this point I’m over it and decides to write a review. This place has gone down tremendously since the old manager Michelle has left. The new manager Leilani is USELESS! Lastly, the only reason we stayed there is because it's close to Zephyrhill Hospital in which I take travel assignments and don't want to drive to Brookville to book a room. I don't know which issue is worst being a frontier caring for COVID patientS or fighting the FILTHINESS...
Read moreTERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE – AVOID THIS HOTEL!
I had a horrible experience with Hampton Inn Dade City due to their complete lack of customer care. I canceled my reservation 2–3 days before the free cancellation deadline, but because Booking.com failed to notify the hotel, so they claim, I was wrongly charged over $200. Instead of helping me resolve the issue, the hotel refused to take any responsibility and showed zero willingness to assist.
When I contacted them to explain the situation, they flat-out refused to speak with Booking.com or make any effort to help me get my refund. Instead, they just told me it was Booking.com’s fault and left me to deal with it alone. Even after I provided proof of the cancellation and the charge, they still refused to help.
On top of that, because my card is European, I was also charged a $20 international transaction fee—another cost I wouldn’t have had if the hotel and Booking.com had handled my cancellation properly.
It’s been over two weeks, and I’m still stuck in this endless back-and-forth with no refund and no real support from the hotel. Their complete lack of accountability and unwillingness to assist customers speaks volumes. I will never stay here, and I highly recommend that others avoid this hotel and booking.com at all costs! It’s better to book directly with a hotel and avoid...
Read moreI always stay at Hamptons for cleanest, ect, However I noticed coming to Florida this year at the end of January my normal time of traveling down from Michigan they are getting pricey. I usually pay about 120. to 125. Tax included. This year I stopped in Murfreesboro Tennessee 140. and drove 10 miles out of my way and stayed in Dade City, Florida. 140.00 just to sleep. I don't use the pools, exercise room, or eat breakfast, I try to stay low carb. I've also use Hamptons in my other travels probably 4 other trips a year. I'm retired Special Needs teacher and need to stick to my budget. I also usually stop between 600 and 800 pm. for rest. I usually call ahead on my car phone maybe 3 hours out. I try to get a loyal discount maybe 20.00 off and dont appreciate the take or leave it attitude from the desk people. Around Dade City there is a Hampton right off 75 south they wanted 20.00 per night. So I drove at 830 pm to Dade City for the price above. I stayed at the same Dade City Hampton 2 years ago visiting friends New Years Eve for 121. Tax included. I hate to leave your chain, just to pricey. I'll have to start checking Comfort Inn Suites and a new chain growing Dury Inns Thanks, Joe Michigan. I doubt if Hampton Corp reads these but...
