Dollar General — Local services in Dade City

Compared to other Dollar Generals I have shopped at, this one appears to be better managed. Very professional, courteous employees, as well as neat and clean store. This stems from careful vetting of applicants vs. an employee telling the manager they have a friend looking for a job when a vacancy is open. The lazy habit side of me wishes it was a stand alone store like the others I shopped at because of the distance in parking. My friend and I where checking out put our things on the counter and the man said to us the self check out is open. He didn’t understand that he was rude he was just trying to switch over we understand but we also where customers and he could of overall said things in a nicer way.
