I don't like to force my perspective or opinion on others, I like to state the facts and let them form their own opinions. So here's the facts about this hotel:
1- the dog area outside is the gravel alley behind the hotel.
2- there was a glade plug in airfreshener in our room.
3- the smoke detector in our room didn't work.
4- my husband booked the stay online through their website the day prior to our trip. He hadn't received a confirmation email yet the day of our expected arrival so he called the hotel to ask if the reservation was made or if there was an issue with the reservation. They told him there was no reservation for us in their system, so he made another reservation.
5- after we returned home from our trip my husband checked our bank account and we were charged twice for our stay. He contacted the manager and she stated they would need a fax from the bank with proof of the double charge. He made a trip to the bank and had the fax sent. He called the manager back and she stated they didn't receive it. She asked him to email it to her. He sent the email, called her, she said that she still didn't receive it. She then requested he send another fax to their sister hotel. He made another trip to the bank and had another fax sent. He called her again to be told she was too busy to figure it out and would contact him later. After a week he still hadn't heard back, so he called her again to be told they didn't charge us twice and refused to refund the second charge. Jumped through a lot of hoops, took a ton of our time and no results, paid for our stay twice.
Let me ask you, is it...
Read moreYou will not find a nicer room for the price! We pretty much always go cheep for rooms, and always come away with good stories of how bad the room smelled, stains, doors/windows that don't work, failed plumbing, ect. I never leave reviews because you get what you pay for right? I need to this time, because this place was great. The room was clean (no funky smells either! Yes, I think a room can be clean and still smell funny.), fresh linens, everything worked, good water pressure, mini fridge, friendly staff, and continental breakfast (for the price are you kidding?!?!). Not that breakfast was anything fancy; cereal, oatmeal, waffles, and wrapped danishes, but it saved us the time of having to make another stop. With a 1 year old in tow this was a huge bonus. We were looking to stay in Butte, and I am so glad we decided to go a little further to stay here. We would go the extra distance past Missoula to stay here in the...
