I went to see Willy Wonka with my roommate who had family starring in this musical. The whole cast are local thespians, from the door/ticket takers to the backstage hands to costume to actors. Everyone who is involved wears many different hats and it was so much fun to see people I knew or had seen about town, giving their all to this production. My roommates grandson was Charlie, a special treat for us and he gave a wonderful performance, as did they all, I especially loved the dedication and thoroughness of the character research, Willy was portrayed exactly as the author wrote him and i felt the other characters walked off the pages of the original book as well. Think Gene Wilder meets Johnny Depp meets indifferent Uncle. Costumes and sets were a large step up from high school production without breaking the bank or making tickets outrageous and costly. It was a fun afternoon out and I will definitely go to the next production, this time making it a date night...
Read moreCute little community theatre in a sweet town. It seats about 120 people, give or take, in 5 rows, so every seat is great. They are comfortably cushioned with drink holders. You can get sodas and popcorn, but you can also get beer and wine, too. And mixed drinks are also available. They have an amazing costumer, props mistress, and set designer. It's very family oriented, and the community really supports it. Performances can sell out, so definitely call ahead to reserve your seats. So glad we were able to see a wonderful...

We cannot say enough about the way children and families were involved with this production and how pleasant it was to see that in this world again.
