We stopped by and thought we would check out the broken arrow based solely on the sign on the highway that said, best steak in the west. As a connoisseur of grass fed beef from all over the country I’m not willing to go any further in comparison beyond western steer. We ordered two filets both cooked medium, one was overcooked and the other was undercooked. The meat on both was tough for a filet and had the consistency more like cube steak. The steak appeared to be dressed in a-1 steak sauce. We were seated by one person who never introduced herself, service started by another who didn’t introduce herself and the finished with another. The atmosphere while not having one person smoking in the restaurant the place smelled of cigarette smoke. If you are going to make the claim of the best steak in the west, which the waitress said the filet was the best they had, you need to be able to cover that claim. Reading the other reviews I can only imagine these are people who like eating at TGIF and call it good food. For the record the best filet you can get in the area within 30 miles of deer lodge is Montana rib and Chop house in Butte. And here’s the clue, if the menu has pictures in the menu of the food get up and leave. I’m sorry about the review but with all the cattle around this should have been much much better. There are so many better options near by. As a suggestion, focus on aging your beef and sourcing it locally, grass fed is better than grain fed or grain finished. Filet shouldnt need a steak knife to...

I ordered the sea food fettuccini, pasta so over cooked it doesn't resemble pasta, broccoli so over cooked it smears with a fork.....the clams were so dry and salty , I couldn't even swallow one bite..... (And I'm not a picky eater ) Really disappointed I've never asked for a refund on food my entire life ..... I spent $120 and it definitely was not worth it!

Got a refund on the sea food pasta it was so salty, over cooked and terrible... Ruened my dinner........

Service was horrible ... Took 30 minutes to have our order taken, and it was only taken at all because I walked up to the bar and asked where do I order ......(ignored by waitresses for over 30 mins... Almost left because people who came in 20 mins after us, they were served before us... That's very rude ... Didn't even get silver wear for a hour ..... Served our salads before we even had silver wear .... We decided to take our food to go because the service was so unbearable....

The vibe is more like a fast pace alcohol dispensary.... Not a family place or steak house ...

Bottom line ... Over priced, over cooked,...

Im currently living in Phoenix Arizona. Our steak houses are very different. Much more “fancy” shall we say? When my parents said we needed to stop at the steak house here, I was looking forward to it. Then we walked in, I immediately thought “oh no, this is just a bar”. 😳

We sat down and ordered. The waitress was awesome! Very friendly and attentive. 🥰

During the wait I went into the side with the casino. The casino is very large and has everything you need. The bartender (who was the best dressed person I’d seen all week 🤩) sold me a shot. He was very nice as well. *Btw- I’m blown away by alcohol prices in Montana in general- BEYOND REASONABLE.

Used the bathroom. It was large and clean.

Dinner came in a reasonable time frame. I had the French Dip. My complements to the chef! It was as good as my mom used to make!

Worth the stop for sure!! If you’re from a major city, look past the “local bar meets steakhouse” vibe and stop in

We didn’t get steaks, but 4 of us had dinner and sodas for $80.

Great food,...

Enjoyed the Broken Arrow Special. Chose the baked potato as a side with butter and sour cream. Steak was cooked perfectly and seasoned great. It also came with a shrimp cocktail that I had before the entrée came out Overall a nice place to stop as I was passing through town on a road trip. Good atmosphere, it had a video gaming area full of slots, even though it’s labeled a casino. I was expecting more, but it didn’t take away from the experience. Friendly staff to greater me as soon as I walked out. Would definitely come back here if I pass through again!

This place was okay. It has more of a bar/casino vibe rather than a steakhouse. The service was a little slow but not unbearable. We had a party of 7 and 2 ordered steak, which I'm guessing was good since they ate it all. Myself and 2 others ordered pasta dishes. We all agreed that the alfredo and spaghetti were okay but not great. It was a bit bland for me, but I added lots of pepper, salt, and butter, which helped. The other 2 in our group ordered burgers, which they also ate all of. So I'm guessing their burgers are good.
