If you have a head on that strong neck of yours, you wont live here. PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE SIGNING A LEASE! Im typing this sitting in this yucky, loud, stinky, falling apart little apartment absolutely counting the days until my lease ends. I have lived in both the tower and north hall so I know what its like, trust me on this. Here is why it sucks. It is always disgusting, they take out the trash maybe once every two weeks because the hall starts to wreak of rot and trash. They barely clean it and when they do its on request and its rarely past the bare minimum. someone peed in the hallway and it didnt get cleaned up until the next day. The laundry machines are almost always broken, when they manage to actually keep them on they dont fully wash your clothes and then you have to spend another 2 bucks just to have your clothes dry. People get upset if you leave your laundry in the machines and Ive heard cases of people's clothes ending up in the trash because of the impatient bottom of the barrel people that live here. Recently someone opened my IN USE laundry machines purely because they were upset that they were in use. Like thats the level of incompetence here. There is no enforcement on noise, they just let dogs bark and bark, Ive had a friend call multiple noise complaints on his neighbor who would have loud and vigorous sleepovers’ until 2 am if your picking up what im putting down. The tower's elevators are broken at least once a month, and don't even think about getting warm water there. If its fall/winter, you're not getting warm water unless you leave your shower on for two hours, then you can take a lukewarm shower! There are no amenities, they provide a kitchen area on every floor (By that I mean a microwave and maybe a sink) you have to do your dishes in the bathroom sink in the tower and in the single rooms. The double rooms have just a sink. It sucks because you start spending bank on doordash and premade meals. Speaking of food, the vending machines are stocked often but are broken half the time. They will eat your money. If you are truly wanting to move in with a roommate, get an apartment. I promise you the 1,600 is so much more worth it in an actual apartment. There is almost never anyone at the North hall desk anymore, and depending on your attitude they will charge you if you get locked out of your room. There actually is a 50$ charge after 12:00 am. BUT, one time I was in a bad mood and i dont think the girl I asked to let me in liked that so she told me that this time would be free but next time past 8:00 pm theres a 25$ fee. This is a lie. I don't know where she pulled those numbers from, nowhere sanitary, thats for sure. The location is awful. Its flooded with tourists for the stupid exhibit. Dont buy the exhibit either I spent that 30 dollars expecting it to be worth it. Its a dollar a minute experience. Thats all im gonna say. But the dumb people (Not you or I because your smart for reading this good job) apparently dont like to listen because they park in the assembly permitted parking. My boyfriends car had an attempted break in in assembly’s lot itself, and the dirt lot across the way his catalytic converter got robbed off his car. There was a homeless camp fire that I could literally see from my window one time, there's random drug addicts hanging around, and the traffic is AWFUL Really bad location. One day there was a literal gaping hole in the ceiling that was pouring water. And it sat there for hours in my hallway with no one fixing it. They also do this weird fire inspection thing where they will send a text out about maintenance coming to your room but there is no given time so they just knock and come in. That just seems wrong to me. It doesn't seem hard to schedule a floor by floor deal. The people here are also really mean, probably because of their situation so I get it. Its just not a friendly environment, it is very closed off and nobody leaves their rooms. Theres a character limit and I was going to say some good things but its not even worth it, hope...

There is no freaking way everyone that has left a negative review for this property has either faced eviction or didn’t “obey” the rules. ☠️ I have paid my rent on time and have been a more than compliant tenant, and I’m sure this is a far more common scenario for other negative reviewers.
I’m in the North Hall with just a short few months left of my lease and I cannot WAIT to get out. Here’s the actual tea 🍵 for anyone thinking about moving here and living in the North Hall at least. I’m also using a different email to protect my privacy as well.
Living here has been… let’s just say, character-building.
Cleanliness here is a Choose-Your-Own-Adventure Game
Yes, the hallway carpets were finally cleaned this weekend… miracles do happen. But don’t get too excited. The main lobby is still auditioning for a “before” photo in a cleaning product commercial. Look down when you walk in. The rug and the floor underneath have seen things. And the cleaning staff? If they exist, they must be in witness protection. For the rent we’re paying (tiny studios or shared spaces at $1,000+ a month), you’d think we’d get at least a daily lobby mop down…vacuumed hallways…the elevator cleaned…or god forbid…stairwells that don’t smell like absolute accumulated filth. But nope!
Bonus feature! There’s almost always a mysterious odor in the lobby, and if you glance left before getting on the elevator, you’ll find a bug trap that has become a full on insect airbnb. And yes…that trap and the other bugs you’re bound to see having their daily stroll through the lobby…indicates that you will have bugs in your unit. Will you know what kind when you get there? Nope! But, consider them your surprise roommates. I can personally vouch for roaches being some of mine.
Laundry: When I moved in, laundry was $1 per load. Then…without a single upgrade…it jumped to $2. Half the machines are broken, the other half look like they’ve been through an absolutely disgusting war, and dryers often need two or three cycles to actually dry clothes. That’s $4–$8 for one load unless you’re into wearing damp jeans... and damp everything else. Sometimes you have to wander to other floors like a lost, hopeless soul just to find a machine that’s both working and not…horrifying and repulsive to use. For the rates we’re paying, this feels less like laundry service and more like an overly priced obstacle course to try to maintain personal hygiene.
Who is overlooking this property? Because I, a student, and others who have left similar negative reviews should not have to keep outlining these negative issues more than once with the rates that we’re being charged to live here.
Sleep? Not So Much. If your unit faces the interstate, prepare for sleep that feels like a nap in a truck stop parking lot. Unless you have NASA-level sound insulation, the traffic noise will become your new white noise machine… minus the relaxation.
Maintenance
They actually seem bothered that they have to come to fix things that are constantly falling apart in these outdated units or damn near on the verge. You’re damned if you do and damned if you don’t reach out to submit a request.
Management will say anything to get you to sign with their “special” specials every month, which is also why you should be concerned outside of what I’m saying. They need bodies here, and they need them bad. But as other reviews have pointed out (and I’m now confirming too), there’s a clear pattern of shared negative experiences here. Do yourself a favor…read the negative reviews, notice the recurring issues in what people are saying without being asked to provide positive reviews to counter the negative ones…and make your decision with eyes wide open and the clearest head you can have.
Management will promise you the moon to get you to sign. What you’ll actually get? Rent that doesn’t match what you receive but keeps going up nonetheless, low upkeep, and a crash course in lowered...

I was in constant contact with Stefan asking him about a million and one questions because it was my first time moving out of state and I didn't know a soul in Colorado. He answered ALL of them in detail and since I got my lease to start in July, but actually moved in the last week of august. He actually knew me by my first name (lol) and a few other people in the office did too. Everyone was beyond nice and helpful. They helped me carry my suitcases to my place and gave me tips about living here. Even the Elaine accounting - she wrote me a proof of residency letter for the DMV so I could establish residency. Very welcoming and kind staff in management.
My room was kinda gross. I know I was practically two months late into moving in, but there was so much dust it wasn't grimy or anything, but just dusty...It took me a few rounds of just cleaning the tub alone for me to feel good about it. Also, the AC unit it literally on ur bed... its really loud and annoying cause it sounds like there's paper stuck in there, but I had maintenance come and look at it and said it was fine. it was also really dusty in there too (he showed me how to clean it though). the drains are bad..regardless if u use gallons of drain-o
I think a few people mentioned that the hallways smell like weed. This is very true. In fact people even smoke right outside the building all the time (lol).
literally everyone in this place has a dog...not just a small dog...but BIG DOGS like I have probably seen like 20 huskies here. Since im a grad student and I'm rarely home I never noticed it before BUT THE ONE TIME I WAS HOME cause classes got canceled I literally couldn't hear myself think... the dogs were barking nonstop... I mean I even complained and I never heard back (I think Jacquelyn was suppose to reach out...she never did ), so I dont know if it ever got resolved because I don't ever consider staying home to study anymore which sucks tbh.
the people living here are sweet. There are some odd balls here, but Im not surprised since its mostly an undergrad place, but overall the people living here are sweet. People hold doors and I even had a few people help me carry things.
They have tons of activities going on all the time. I see flyers and since its halloween they have a door decorating contest and a movie night thing. Kinda fun way to interact with people and make friends (I just never go lol - sorry)
There is laundry on every floor, but its awful. Probably my LEAST favorite thing. Not only is it such a pain to connect to the dumb machines using the app, but no one cleans out the lint filter things. They have a weird smell and the area around them is always nasty. People even leave their clothes outside.. I think there's this one load someone left for literally two weeks just sitting there on the counter (so weird)
if you have AT&T you legit won't have service - maybe 1-2 bars max. I don't think this an Assembly issue, but I wanted to mention it. Wifi sucks too... but you get wifi in ur room included (the lady from accounting told me cause I didnt even know)
no problems with parking, but when I get home around 1-2am from the library I do have to park kinda further thani m comfortable with - I heard peoples car get broken into which scares me and I wish this place had more cameras and some security
there are homeless people around here
there's a dispensary literally next door to this place and there's construction going on - also I just found out there's a train station stop nearby..its like a 10 min walk . I'm just too scared to try it (walking there and using it)
keyfobs for the rooms suck. I had to replace mine 3 times in 2-3 months. Someone mentioned you have to get them replaced every 100 days?
rent is cheap it includes utilities but no kitchen
you get ur mail delivered, but its so odd to me that you can't send mail out - why?
no noise issues (minus...
