Will Call — Restaurant in Denver

This place is not worth anyone's time or money.

I went for lunch with a friend, and we both ordered their version of a southwestern salad. The first red flag was when right before being delivered our food, the waitress informed us that they were out of avocado. We were starving and on a tight schedule, so despite the avocado being probably the most important part of the salad, we decided to accept the offered substitution of some kind of guac sauce.

Anyway, the salads came out, and they were disgusting. The mango was from a can (confirmed by the workers), and I'd bet the corn and black beans were too. The whole thing was slimy and gross. The chicken was a tiny portion and bland. I couldn't eat more than a few bites.

The salads-from-a-can were $16 each, and we weren't offered any discount for the missing avocado. And since when is canned fruit something that a restaurant puts on a salad? Next time we'll just go to the 7/11 nearby, where I know we can have a literal feast and probably top off the car too for that...

My favorite bar in Denver hands down. The service is quick and friendly (it helps I go there all the time and they know me), and the food is delicious. I am mostly posting this review so there is somewhere on the internet that identifies Will Call as a Carolina Panthers bar in Denver. Hopefully if you google CAROLINA PANTHERS BAR in DENVER, Will Call will show up and there will be much rejoicing and drinking. Great Sunday special if you are a Panthers fan (or just a football fan), $2.50 Coors Lights and free shots when the Panthers score. Make sure that your order went through via email, you'll receive and email confirmation after you make your purchase. I've used this service a number of times and each one is perfectly easy.
