I found Maiz on a whim through google search, for office lunch. I'm so happy I found them. The service was very friendly and professional. Ordering and paying was a true breeze!
Now the important part -- the food. Let me tell you, it felt like home cooking brought to us at work. The fresh ingredients, the presentation, everything was fabulous. We ordered the 3-filling Gordita package: Asada, Red Chile Chicken, and the bean and cheese; accompanied by a side of rice. The rice was an office favorite, with many noting how exceptionally delicious and savory it was. I will be ordering two pans of the rice instead of just the one next time hahah
10/10 will be ordering...
Read moreMaiz opened in my building recently and it’s been great to have homemade food in the lobby again. The quality is always high and tastes great. Pictured are the tostadas, I chose asada and added their salsa verde on top that comes on the side. Appreciate their hard work and kind service. Canned/bottled drinks are available on top of their cafe specials. Be ready to wait a few minutes if they’re busy, it’ll all come out quickly and hot and there is plenty of space to grab a seat and wait for your name. The gorditas and chile bowl (when available) are my faves but I haven’t been disappointed...
Read moreThis place seriously gets it. The vibe is always on point—cozy but not trying too hard. I come here at least twice a week, sometimes just to hang out and sometimes to actually get stuff done. The coffee selection is insane (in the best way), and the food? So good. The calabacita gorditas are to die for.
They’re always rotating specials too, which I love—it keeps things interesting. And shoutout to the staff: super friendly, super chill, and they remember your name....
