First and foremost this is a MOTEL not a HOTEL there is a difference! Also Denny's or Village Inn whatever it used to be, is no more. There is a Mexican Restaurant there instead.
Location wise; I'm born and raised in CO I moved to Nebraska. I came during the weekend for my niece's birthday. Bf and I stayed at this motel it is what it is. It was not the best motel. It is dirt cheap which fit our budget for such a short stay. Conveniently places to all the things including my niece's bday party and I-76 (just North of motel) and I-70 (literally right outside your door). With Hwy 6 being further south from the hotel just take Federal Blvd all the way down. Federal can be sketchy with a lot of homeless. Besides that traffic wasn't heavy or overwhelmed like it usually is. If I had to I probably wouldn't stay here again. Unless absolutely needed to.
Room wise; it was small not enough outlets considering that both my bf and I have cpap machines. Thankfully my sleep apnea is not extreme that I needed to use it. The rooms are not in a building they are outside so you have to drive to the room weather was kind during the times we had to leave our room. There was rain in the forecast for Denver, raining a lot on Saturday 08/02. Bf made it a point to state the room would be perfect for just a single traveler. There is no mini fridge, microwave. All hard flooring no carpet. Only 2 pillows which were extremely uncomfortable. The bed while clean are small and unforgiving if you should have back issues. As stated earlier it was decent for what its worth.
Service wise; it seems as long as your room is prepaid they are quite accommodating when it comes to late check ins. However, when getting key cards (checking in) the front desk lady seemed very curt. There is NO map of the grounds to find your room. So when she point at a random location of where to drive and find my room I was too worried to ask again for some clairvoyance. I'm sorry, but you're the one who chose a customer service role not me. I like to ask how people are doing, I say please and thank you. Unlike people you've encountered I didn't ask or want anything. Since we were staying for such a short time. But is it so much to want a little smile? Regardless there was no true interaction with front desk besides checking in and leaving.
All in all I do agree that the parking lot could and should be repaved (like the whole state of CO). Besides prepared there is a CRAP ton of construction going on in LOTS of parts of Colorado some I was like wow they're doing that now or ok thats still going on. If youre a native you know...

Read moreUpon my arrival in Denver, I made the decision to book a room at Motel 6, drawn by my previous positive experiences with the chain's affordable accommodations. However, my recent stay at this particular location turned out to be anything but pleasant.
Within just 48 hours of checking in, I encountered a series of concerning issues. Firstly, I discovered that the fridge in my room was leaking, leading to a considerable mess. Additionally, I was dismayed to find obvious lipstick stains on the pillowcase and remnants of long hair on the bed, which made me question the cleanliness of the linens. To add to my disappointment, there were only two towels provided for the entire duration of my stay, which proved to be quite inconvenient. Moreover, the bathtub had drainage problems, making it difficult to take a shower comfortably.
Furthermore, I experienced challenges with the Wi-Fi service, as it was changed without any prior notice. This forced me to walk down to the front desk to inquire about the issue, which was an unnecessary inconvenience. The issues didn't end there; I also encountered problems with the cable service.
The condition of the property's maintenance was also unsatisfactory. I found broken washing machines, which explained the shortage of towels, and even noticed loose screws on my door, making it difficult to close securely. This led me to believe that the property's management and maintenance were not up to par.
In addition to the issues with the facilities, I also observed signs of negligence in the treatment of the staff. It appeared that they were overworked and likely underpaid, which is a reflection of poor leadership. Despite my frustrations, it's important to note that I did not have any issues with the staff themselves; my concerns lie with the overall management and upkeep of the property.
Regrettably, this experience has left me with no choice but to refrain from booking at any Motel 6 in the future. I intend to bring these issues to the attention of the appropriate parties within the company, as there are clearly areas in need of...
