We just left there (10/27/2018). Stopped for lunch while traveling. The food was delicious. The young man who took our order greeted us and was polite. From that point on it went downhill. We saw a female employee come out of the ladies room shaking her hands in the air to dry them, and then finish drying them by patting them on her pants. She then put on gloves and made our food. My daughter went to the restroom; I gave her a bunch of napkins to take with her, as that employee did not bother refilling the paper towel dispenser. When that employee finished fixing and bagging our food, she approached the counter where we we standing and threw the bag of food in our general direction, then immediately turned away without even a glance at us. So we stood there for about one minute, waiting to see if anyone was going to notice that we were still there. Finally the polite man who took our original order walked over and said, “can I help you with something?” I told him that in the half a second that it took her to throw our food in on the counter in our direction, she must have forgotten to check and see if we needed anything else. Polite boy to the rescue. To the manager: if it wasn’t for this young man, I would have given this restaurant only 1 star. The final bad point ... as we were getting napkins, sauces and forks, my daughter noticed that the forks were sticky. I suggested she go wash her hands before we left and she said, “no thanks Mom, remember- there’s no paper towels. Fortunately we had disposable hand wipes in the car. The food was good, but my chalupa grande was not wrapped well in the paper, and action of throwing the bag of food on the counter made the tomatoes and other loose toppings fall into the bottom of the bag. There’s a Subway next door. I recommend it if you are traveling I40 and get hungry near...
Read moreThe worst Taco Bell I’ve been to. Placed my order at 7:53pm. Waited until 8:23pm for my order to be started- there was an order for 8 dozen tacos ahead of me. Had I known that, I probably wouldn’t have ordered here. Two crunchy black bean tacos came out perfectly made. But the 4 bean burritos were the worst I have ever seen. I checked them before I left to make sure there was no cheese. No cheese, BUT- where are the beans? Barely any beans all dried up on a hard tortilla. I asked them to re-make them. 10 min later I got nice hefty bean burritos. I opened the burritos to find all 4 of them had cheese. Here I go back to the counter- food prepper sees me and rolls her eyes. Someone comes back and I let them know the problem and they go back to re-make them. At least that’s what I thought. 5 min later I ask about my burritos and they hadn’t started them. By this time it’s been 45 min since I placed my original order. They gave me a refund, no burritos, but I kept the soggy tacos. There should be a sign on the door that says “We take care of drive-thru customers only”. Dining room customers order at...
Read moreEvery time I go here, if I go inside (which I have to because my truck window is broke), it takes at LEAST half an hour to get our food. Today, it took 50 minutes, and i ordered online. Turns out my food had been sitting there for 5 or 10 minutes. It was cold when i checked to make sure we got everything, and they didn't give us everything we ordered. It's such crap. Then, to hear the workers complaining about people ordering food. It's just ridiculous. This location needs to be shut down or revamped or something.
Update 9/11/25 Decided to give this place another try because I didn't want to drive all the way to the other side of town. We did the drive-thru this time. The lady at the register when I got to the window was actually nice. They actually got our whole order correct, AND it only took like 5-10 mins to get our food. Seems like they might have gotten new staff and are actually trying to make the place a little better. Might go inside next time to see if that's changed. Changed from 1...
