I booked a suite at this hotel while traveling with my daughter, specifically wanting separate areas for privacy and space. From the pictures online, it appeared the couch/office area would be separate from the bedroom. When we arrived, I quickly realized the "suite" was simply one open room — the couch and office desk were directly across from the bed with no separation at all.
To make matters worse, the couch and office chair were visibly stained, and there were tortilla chips left on the couch and floor. The bed even looked like someone had recently laid on it. Concerned there was a mistake, I contacted the front desk immediately. I was told that I had received the correct room and there was nothing they could do.
I asked to speak with a manager, only to be told there wouldn’t be a manager available until Monday — it was Saturday. I then asked if someone could at least come clean the room, but was informed the cleaning staff had gone for the day and wouldn't return until tomorrow. Once again, I was told there was nothing they could do.
Still trying to find a solution, I asked if a clean room was available. After a long hold, the front desk agent said the supervisor told her there were no rooms available. Feeling frustrated, I called corporate. They confirmed there were plenty of rooms available and said they would call the front desk themselves. After another long wait, I was told (again) that only the supervisor could approve a room change — and nothing was being done.
At that point, I had been sitting in a dirty room for about an hour, waiting for someone to simply give me a clean space. I ultimately decided to check out early and was still charged for the night — for a room I didn’t even want to sit down in.
Honestly, for what I paid, I felt like I should have thrown the sheets, towels, and comforter on the floor to make it look like I had actually used the room. I left it exactly as I received it.
As a side note, we ended up at the Hilton Garden Inn across the street, which was much cleaner. However, be aware that most hotels in this area seem to have the strange policy of only cleaning every other day, and only if requested.
Bottom line: I do not recommend staying here — or in this area — if you expect basic cleanliness, honesty, or...

So, unfortunately, the cleaning staff can’t be trusted. Bummer, I’d been using Hilton properties almost exclusively for over two rears, but situations such as this have sent me elsewhere. I stay in hotels about 36-40 times per year, so this is relatively significant.
2023.11.06 For the second time, I’ve been prompted to speak to management about the childish and exceedingly rude behavior of the food preparer. This particular issue revolved around his putting things away prior to closing of breakfast hours.
On this particular occasion, he was putting away the danishes about five minutes prior to closing with the justification that he was going to change out the selection.
Why change out a selection of three types of danishes, only to replace them 5 Minutes prior to closing? The answer is simple, he was only putting away that which he felt could be put away in advance in order to expedite his departure, customers being disregarded.
The part that bothers me most was actually his attitude. Suffice it to say, it was unpleasant. Exceedingly unpleasant. Seriously, he needs to be fired.
Whether or not I’m the only one who isn’t willing to tolerate things like this, I’m sure I’m not the only one who has been inconvenienced.
There used to be a time when patrons at any number of establishments were treated with respect, and weren’t made to feel like they were the problem, instead of the ever increasingly inept and apathetic staff. This was my second encounter with this individual, Tony, and his attitude hadn’t changed one bit.
Dropped the service star to one. At what point will My stay supersede your staff?
I don’t ask for much really. I pay the rate asked. I don’t smoke inside. I do expect: a clean room, appropriate toiletries and towels, clean sheets, to be unbothered until check out, and for any breakfast served to be properly prepared and available until the posted closing time.
Just spoke with their customer service department, and the matter will be addressed...

A number of years ago I stayed here on a business trip. The duration of the stay was three nights. My room was on the fourth floor and was impeccable and very spacious.
The first night was uneventful. The second night I slept fitfully and wasn't sure why. I kept waking up and my eyes were ever drawn to the window across from the bed. I finally got up to look. The hotel pool was below and across was a gated area under construction, a large mound of earth enclosed within. Everything was still and quiet but I felt odd, as if I were still asleep, dreaming, and might wake at any moment. I shook the feeling off as best I could, turned on the TV and fell asleep to some Friends reruns.
The third and final night I woke from a dead sleep certain someone was in the room. It was pitch black in the room but as my eyes adjusted to the darkness, I sensed something watching me from the ceiling. I looked up and there, in the corner above the bed, was a very dark shadow. This shadow seemed to have feline qualities.... it felt like it was readying itself to pounce on me. All the while my hand was scrabbling at the lamp on the nightstand to turn on the light. I couldn't find it and I knew I had to take my eyes off the swirling, shifting shadow-thing.
When, in desperation, I finally did, I felt a hot rush of air blow over and past me. I heard the curtains swish and then I managed to finally, finally turn the lamp on.
The room was empty. There was nothing in the corner above the bed. The curtains at the window were swaying slightly, though. Cautiously, I approached the window and looked out. The night was quiet and still and empty.
Nothing to see. Regardless, I remained uneasy and at 3 a.m. I turned every light and the TV on and took a quick shower. I decided to pack up and call it a day.
Has anyone who stayed here experienced anything remotely similar to this while...
