Courtyard Motel — Hotel in Downey

Hello everyone, if you are looking for a place to stay then I want you to turn away from this motel because it was the worst place my husband and I have ever stayed in. First of all; this place smells disgusting, the pillows were dirty with sweat stains and covered in hair, the bed sheets were also dirty and visibly dirty from a previous visitor, the toilet moves when you try to use it, the shower as well as being outlandishly small had a broken door so you couldn't shower without all of the water spilling out, and finally the carpet was so filthy you couldn't step on it without shoes or your feet would stick to it. Along with this the customer service was awful, the concierge was extremely rude. And I know that some people might say I should've gone somewhere else but it was 3AM and had been driving for hours with my husband. But don't take my word for it, I have some proof for you all because I don't want anyone to have to go through the awful experience my husband and I went through. I stayed here for a whole year, I cleaned up that room so good that it didn't have no smell at all if it wasn't for them that had me so long I would of been in the streets they helped me so much and so understandable, I don't know why so many be complaining, if the room is not at ur satisfaction clean it up a bit specially if you planning on staying for a while come on you won't find a cheaper room. This place is the absolute worst of the worst. The manager hired this guy Ronnie to rennovate the place and he is a total meth addict, fighting with his girl every other morning at 3 am and prodjing out all night. The manager is nice and fair but the place is a dump. Black mold and rot everywhere, the rooms smell and the water stinks like sulfur. Probably going to be condemned soon.
