I really wanted to like this place, as we chose it due to the 'Wyndham' name and the proximity of where we needed to be that weekend. Unfortunately, slapping the 'Wyndham' name on a hotel did nothing for it.||We arrived around 7:00pm, just minutes after my toddler got carsick. I was so happy to be there that I ran in and asked for any towels they may have so I could clean him and my car up. She responded with 'We are having a towel shortage and can only offer 1 extra per room.' Instead, she offered me rags. Fine. I took them. I then remembered that my mother has a bad hip and would have the baby and the stroller the next day without my help. I asked if there was an elevator. No. No elevator. So then I asked if there were any rooms available downstairs. She said she had 1, a suite. Ok, how much. It was going to be $50 more per night. Fine, I'll take it. But then she tells me there is no tub - only a walk-in shower. And with my toddler, I needed a tub. So forget that. We stayed with the original room. Worst room available. We got put in the room directly above the drive in area of the hotel (it's a king room). No one under us. You know the picture of the hotel you see - that was our room. We could hear every car on the street, every car coming in or out, every person walking up the stairs because they point directly at our door, every person checking in because the window was at the base of the stairs, and every person lingering around the vending/ice machine because they're located at the base of the stairs. Our view is of all the other rooms and all the nighttime lights, so even with the shades drawn, we could see light. There was no remote for the tv, so I had to call downstairs and they had one they could 'loan' us. The bed had plastic hanging down from it, easily accessible to my toddler for him to pull on (yes we watch him, but the way it hung down was more than necessary). The shower ended up being terrible. In order for us to have any pressure, it had to be on the cold setting. If we wanted hot water, it dribbled down. Sadly, like a limp d*. The toilet ran ALL night and ALL day. There were no laundry bags in the closet (we use them for dirty laundry), so we had to ask for extra trash bags. The phone had a nasty yellow color to it and was sticky. The clock didn't show numbers at all, the whole time we were there. The next morning my mom decided to grab some breakfast for her and my toddler. The door was locked. I was told breakfast was served 7-11am. It was after 7am. She spoke to someone who told her that they were having a problem with the juice machine but that it would be open soon. The whole breakfast was apple/orange juice, coffee maker but no coffee, no creamers or sweeteners, honey buns and some blueberry muffins. That's it. No cereals, no milk, no fruit. We've been to many continental breakfasts, and this was a pathetic excuse for one. ||It's a shame. The hotel wasn't cheap, still cost about $160/night. The walls clearly had seen better days and the corners of the floors were filthy. From the looks of walking in, it looked nice. But once you got in and stayed, it was a complete...
