Staff was incredible very friendly very helpful. The room with clean big the mirror in the bathroom was beautiful. The lobby was very nice. I love the breakfast nook. The room was perfect. The bed was soft clean and no stains on carpet. The floor was nice and quiet my hotel room with right by the elevator 212 I had the pleasure of spending one night there for pleasure by myself. It was awesome, very relaxing. The pool was clean, empty other than me. The weight room was clean sanitized. I love that they have quiet hours the breakfast the complimentary breakfast no, let’s talk about this phenomenal. I had biscuits and gravy. They were delicious. I asked the lady at the desk you only have this on Sundays and she says no we have this every day of the week. I was surprised and I said hot coffee. She says we have that too. L O L. I said the coffee was delicious biscuits and gravy was fantastic. I will definitely be back probably as soon as next weekend. I was that impressed. I love that they have a little store That was always very nice. they had snacks and pop and wine beer at your disposal for a fee of course ice cream grab and go sandwiches that you could pop in the microwave was a really nice addition little pricey but if you’re in a pinch and you need something quick they’ve got over-the-counter medicine, Advil and such that was always a great idea to have that little general store so kudos I don’t know I’m just really really enjoyed my stay and I wasn’t there long, but they definitely made an impression a very good one. ||As far as constructive criticism, I think you need an ashtray outside somewhere nice I did see that you had a smoking area. I didn’t see any ashtrays. I saw butts on the ground unfortunately not very professional, but not your fault. The hospitality from every member that I encountered was very nice very professional I didn’t get to encounter the maid staff the hospitality staff, but I’m sure they did a fantastic job. I hope they enjoyed their tip and they earned every penny.|||Enclosing I’d like to say that I have been to a few hotels, not many and this is by far probably one of my favorites. It wasn’t perfect. You know I would not say it’s a five star hotel but maybe with a little bit more accommodations. This could very easily be One of the best hotels in the area and I’m talking maybe minimal accommodations like the ashtray in front but other than that, it was a great day. It was a great night. Everything was clean. I’d come back again. The prices were not too terrible and all that for the price that I paid I got a really big room. It was pretty affordable and totally totally worth it if the staff is incredible that says a lot about your team that means they would train well and informative and that says a lot about the management staff pretty impressed. I was I will definitely come back in the near future and I will bring friends I liked your hotel so much that I signed up that very day for discounts because I wanna stay there again. ||J.L.Forbes aka (J....
Read moreWhen me and my two daughters first arrived at this hotel, we were impressed and said almost immediately that we would return. Although there were three small problems, they were not big enough to change our minds about a future stay. Fast forward to breakfast the next morning. My two daughters, age 10 and 6 are sleep and I don’t want to wake them so early so I go down to grab breakfast for both of them to bring back to the room. However, I was chased down by an employee as I waited with my food by the elevator. She stated that food was not allowed beyond the cafeteria and I should return. I was totally shocked as I had never heard such a ludicrous rule. When I asked why, she said, “the syrup left by previous guests caused ants.” Might be true, but that has nothing to do with me. I personally, can’t eat first thing in the morning so taking my food to the room is how I usually do it. That rule alone was a deal-breaker for me. This is supposed to be my home-away-from home yet I’m told I have to eat my “complimentary” breakfast in public. Guests should be able to decide where they want to eat. If ants were a problem, ask other hotels what they do since you guys obviously have no clue. You can’t stop guests from taking their own purchased food to the room so what is the difference? Sounds more like a money-issue disguised as a pest-issue. I simply threw all the food in the garbage because I was angry. So angry that I didn’t even bother going to breakfast the next several days. Now that this hotel has taken my choice of breakfast away, I’m upset about the three things I mentioned were not going to be a big deal. 1. My microwave wasn’t plugged in so I had to rig it up myself (see picture) 2. The light in the bathroom was bad so it blinked the entire time. Each time I went into the bathroom I thought I was at a disco ball. (see picture) The safety latch on my door was completely broke. If you like to eat in the privacy of your own room, this hotel is NOT for you. We will NOT be returning in the fall for our next family get away. We will choose a hotel that lets us choose. Stay Away! Also, the pool water was so cold that my daughter’s lips turned purple.
UPDATE: During a later stay at a different hotel, they went as far as providing me with a tray to take my food back to my room. That was such a wonderful feeling. My girls swam for 3 hours the night before and were not up early enough for breakfast but this hotel was very accommodating. This experience made me think of this hotel who does the total opposite....
Read moreStaff unfriendly and unwelcoming. It appeared that the management/owner do not believe in fixing broken equipment/amenities. The pool was closed for maintenance. Ice machines and washing machines were out of order. Walked into our room and the piece of the vanity that conceals the plumbing was off and leaning up against the bathroom wall exposing the sink pipes. We had no hand towels or washcloths upon arrival and no bedding for the sofa bed. When my husband discussed this with hotel staff they did not believe him. The toilet paper holder was installed backwards and every time you used the toilet paper the roll would fall on the floor unless you held it in place. The shower rod was installed too high or the shower curtain was too short. The tile floor got soaked every time someone took a shower which was dangerously slippery. The tub drain leaked and I had to run the water constantly so I could give my granddaughter a bath. My granddaughter’s bath toy rolled under the vanity and when I got it out, I also found a previous guest’s panty liner wrapped in toilet paper under the vanity which is unacceptable and disgusting! The sofa bed mattress was horrible. The springs poked whoever laid on it. Ended up just sleeping on the sofa and not using the bed. Breakfast was disappointing. The eggs were bland and not made well. Not many choices. The staff in the breakfast area might want to consider employment where they don’t interact with people. Overall, it was the worst hotel stay we have ever experienced. On a good note, there’s lots of room for improvement if someone actually cares to put...
